This is a gracious hotel with great staff, friendly and helpful. All the tea I can drink...Breakfast is your choice...I have eggs and toast, but it also comes with two types of fresh fruit, jam and butter, tea or coffee and little local extras...today it was an interesting small pancake with seeds. Table set charming.
Attentive and polite staff. Brought me soup one day to share a special holiday celebration. Great air con, comfortable room, clean, has fridge with colas and Fanta at good price, hot tea and coffee in room. Breakfast has several choices including western and Myanmar food, much more than you can eat.
Located near a modern grocery/variety store across the street from Kaba Aye Pagoda, an easy landmark for taxi drivers. Also walking distance to 2 stations on the circular train line which circles Yangon and stops at the main train station as well as 25 other stops. Staff will round up a taxi for you. Lots of buses on Kaba Aye Road with lots of riders, but unknown destinations. Location is roughly half way between the airport and downtown. Taxis are not metered but charged 4000 to 5000 k to downtown. Train is 200 k and takes about an hour.
All in all, clean, well situated with excellent staff. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it.
