Einfach alles super. Wir waren zum 2. Mal dort. Sollten wir wieder in der Gegend sein, werden wir dort wieder übernachten.

Spacious and well decorated rooms, very clean with attention to detail, wonderful river views, 4 course high quality dinner, and very family friendly!!! The hosts were very hospitable!!!

Zelt direkt am Fluss buchen - absolut top eingerichtet, mit Dusche und WC und super Blick auf den Fluss. Frühstück, Abendessen waren tadellos und die Anlage sehr gepflegt und super sauber.

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful, new, clean, comfortable rooms. Lovely property. Such a pleasant surprise in the middle of nowhere. Right on the river and close to the National Park where we saw great wildlife, including 2 leopards. The property has many relaxing spots to enjoy. The dining was lovely and they paid attention to detail, even proving blanket at the table for chilly evening and mornings. Helpful friendly staff. The only problem was the safe was not working in the room. Stay here.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir hatten zwei Zeltbungalows direkt am Fluss. Bootsfahrt zu den Poppa Falls (Stromschnellen) mit naher Beobachtung von Flusspferden und der Vogelwelt. Sehr aufmerksames Personal und für den gezahlten Halbpensionspreis ein hervorragendes Menu als Abendessen. Auch das Frühstück war vielseitig und schmackhaft.

Hotel moeilijk bereikbaar met gewone wagen ( zandweg),iets moeilijker vindbaar.

Alles sehr neu, gepflegt und sauber. Toller Garten. Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Sehr gutes Essen. Konnten leider kein Chalet mit Flussblick mehr buchen. WLAN wurde morgens erst nach 9 Uhr eingeschaltet, sodass wir es vor der Abreise nicht mehr nutzen konnten. Besitzer oder Manager machten einen nicht ganz so freundlichen Eindruck.

Amazing experience, staff so helpful , had a great time on safari . Saw a lots of elephants and buffalo . Very relaxing , plenty of activities on offer .

What a pleasant surprise after a long journey on the road to get to Caprivi. Our rooms in a beautiful park along the Kavango and a lounge with dining in a stunning african style: decent with attention to the smallest details. The food and service surpassed anything we found in the two weeks before in Namibia. The owners helped us with hands-on tips exploring the surrounding national parks. Elizabeth invited us to her home to witness a authentic demonstration of local cooking and food. The WiFi offers room for improvement.

Die Übernachtung im Zelt mit eigener Terrasse war Spitze, alles ganz neu und wunderschön angelegt. Die gamedrives in den Mahango NP super - tolle Landschaft und sehr tierreich. Eine unsere tollsten Lodges der Reise!

Wir haben in einem der Luxury Tents direkt am Fluß übernachtet. Saubere Zelte mit AC, sehr geräumig, herrliche Terrasse direkt am Fluß. Offenes Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen. Sauberer Pool. Die Lodge bietet wunderschöne Sundowner-Cruises an, ebenso Game-Drives in den nahegelegenen Park, den man aber auch selbst befahren kann. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam.

Our stay at Shemetu River Lodge was outstanding. After a quick change in our itinerary (to take the Caprivi Strip) we found the Shemetu Lodge. What a blessing! The rooms were exquisite and restful. The view of the delta was premiere. The staff went above and beyond anything needed. And the food was by far the best we have had throughout our time in Botswana. We would take a trip back to Okavango Delta just to go back to Shemetu River Lodge. Highly recommend!

Travelling off the beaten track with two kids ( 5 and 10 ) you are especially observant of the service and quality you get. Shametu lodge provided us with an exceptional experience that best can be described as a friend of the "house". The owners are dedicated and manage to capture the essence of your needs together with their amazing staff. We even left our oldest behind alone at the lodge while we went shopping in the village nearby. Staff is alert and understands that when you ask where to find your morning coffee in the excellent morning buffet, instead of only pointing in the direction, they instantly bring you your coffee with a smile. The chef not to be forgotten. He came to the table asking to our wellbeing, seldom seen in African lodges. Price is certainly within range of most family budgets, no need to climb higher as you won’t increase your value for money. We went on the hippo cruise and once stuck on a rock, the guide without hesitation jumped in the water to get us free...water with crocks and hippos I should mention... Take the village tour, it’s worth it, especially if you like us, have kids that are use to an overflow life. Good for them to see with their own eyes that the world is fare from equal. We warmly recommend this lodge. Our trip included 4 countries in the region, and 3200 km driven, nothing on our trip came close to this. We will be back. Thanks to all at the lodge

Die Lodge wird von einer Familie geführt. Sie liegt direkt am Okavango Fluss. Es werden schöne Fahrten auf dem Fluss und im Nationalpark angeboten. Wir waren von unserem Aufenthalt begeistert und werden bei einem weiteren Aufenthalt in Namibia das Hotel auf jeden Fall berücksichtigen, wenn es auf der Route liegt.

Great location, tents are directly on the Okavango. Luxury accommodation, friendly and helpful owner and stuff, good food. Our best stay in Namibia!

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits au camping le lieu est parfait. Emplacement vaste propre avec de l'herbe sanitaires privatifs sous un bungalow à plusieurs mètres; cuisine sous un autre bungalow. Dinners et petits déjeuners pris ds le restaurant du lodge où il fait certe un peu chaud mais où les repas sont variés et copieux .
