Our stay in twyfelfontain camp was very nice, the spot is amazing, calm. We were welcomed there and the staff even upgraded us to a tent. Contrary to what we read on the other comments the sheets and bed were clean and had the smell of fresh laundry.
The only part that wasn't that clean was the toilets. But we're the ones using them so maybe if people cleaned after themselves it wouldn't be so bad ...
They had a shortage of water but still managed to get some either way. The shower's water was hot.
Only 2 electric plugs and no way to plug in your fridge if you have one.
Then again we're in the middle of Damaraland and it's been dry for 8 years. I don't understand what people complain about...
This is a campsite, not a luxury hotel
For the food we didn't order any but our neighbors did and said it was very good.
To conclude the place is really good and worth the price. Don't miss it.

This is a tented camp, so our accomodation was a tent. It contained a comfortable bed and a table. The bathroom/shower is outside in an enclosed area at the back of the tent. We took showers under the stars! Everything was clean and there was good attention to detail. We were served breakfast and dinner, both of which were good. We went on an elephant photo safari and our guide, Gerson, who is also the host of the camp, did a great job of finding elephants. Both Gerson and Irene, the hostess, were very helpful and knowledgable. We enjoyed numerous conversations with them. It was also clear they took great pride in providing their guests with a good experience.

We were placed in a concrete shack with no electricity and barely running water. Very basic accommodation; not at all what was described and pictured on Expedia website. We canceled our second night at the property and relocated to another accommodation.

The worst thing was that Wotif sold me accommodation that did not exist. For a group of ten, that was a problem.
The staff were very helpful in sorting something else. Wotif was a near disaster.
Property has moved and is under construction. Taking tht into account, it was excellent.
We had dinner. We had two people who were gluten free and told them. Part of dinner was not gluten free, but they did then prepare something appropriate.

Avoid this property.
Accomodation was completely different than advertised, certain featuers missed, e.g. private bathroom.
Breakfast had to be in the price. Owner stated that the price is too low and charged for breakfast another 12.50 € per person.
Breakfast was anyway cold.
Owner excused all that issues to the problems in communication with hotels.com.

The service and location were wonderful, but the price was not worth it. There was no water in the shower and generally not so comfortable. Could be fine but maybe not for this price. Also, breakfast is not included in the price even though the website says it does (they said they have a lot of problems with people booking from Hotels.com)

Es gab 2 Zelte...ohne Badezimmer..welche wir aber gebucht haben...es gab keine Rezeption...der Platz war nicht eingezäunt....es gab keinen richtigen Ansprechpartner .....ich verstehe nicht wie man solch ein Platz hier Anbieten kann...

Wurden super schlecht empfangen bei der Ankunft, sehr unfreundliches Personal, keine Reinigung, furchtbares Frühstück, Betten hatten merkwürdigen Geruch.
Hat aber alles wann man braucht und kann sehr ruhig schlafen.

We booked a tent room on booking but when we arrived the lady told us that the price that we pay is only for the campsite so we had to pay more to have the tent, even if it was not written like that on booking. She was really nice, the tent were comfy and the bathroom okay. The restaurant is not really a restaurant since you don’t really have a choice, no wifi when we came.

Wir hatten über Expedia gebucht zu einem Preis von 800 NAB sollten in der Unterkunft dann 1000 bezahlen und Frühstück extra, obwohl mit Kostenlosem Frühstück geworben wird. Das war ärgerlich und hat uns nicht gefallen.

Het is een tentencamp, dat in acht nemend. Het personeel probeert het beste maar het is matig allemaal. Ze zijn niet op de hoogte van je komst van de reeds gedane betalingen. Het komt dan allemaal wel goed maar de prijs pret verhouding is volledig zoek.

Unterkunft ist schoen gelegen. Was versprochen wurde, wurde aber nicht eingehalten zB Limitierte Strom, kein Leitungs Wasser zum duschen und Toilette spuelen. Kein freies Wilan, Fruehstueck nicht eingesclossen.

We did not stay there. The website is very misleading. No electricity in tents. Tents grubby. No manager on site and could not be contacted. Two workers on site - very helpful but totally untrained for receiving and dealing with bookings. Manager left a message with worker that "it was our choice to book there"! I would not recommend this place to anyone to stay there.

Personal ist freundlich, muss aber in normalen zelten schlafen, das ist nicht okay. Matratzen sind alt und durchgelegen, man spürte jede Metallfeder! Es gibt nur eine dünne Decke, trotz Kälte in der Nacht. Es hängt im Juli immer noch die Weihnachtsdeko im Zimmer. Es gibt keine funktionierende Steckdose und das Wasser lief morgens auch nicht! Ich schlafe schon ab und zu an solchen Orten, aber nicht zu diesem Preis.

Horrible, fuir ce campement, ce que nous avons fait immédiatement. Les photos ne ressemblaient pas a la realité. Les tentes étaient très sommaire en plein soleil sous une chaleur accablante. C était sale, nous avions reservé 4 tentes et au final il n'y en avait que 3. Les boissons commandées au bar , si l on peut appeler cela un bar étaient chaude. Pas de choix sur le menu du repas du soir et un plat en moins ! Lieu horrible, c est une honte de proposer de telles conditions. Nous avons appelé le gérant sans obtenir de solution. Et obligation de nous reloger a nos frais non loin de la . Je le répète vraiment fuir ce lieu
