Overall, the room is quite large, clean and furnished with nice facilites, in addition, don't forget a wonderful private garden. The staffs pay attention to the details and willing to host their guests. However, the air conditioner could not be used in the second day I stayed.... but the staffs immediately noticed the problem and tried to solve the problem.The room is just near the metro station(M52) and the tram stop. It takes ~10 minutes to walk from the metro station and ~5 minutes to the tram stop. Very close to the downtown but it's very quiet at night.

Perfect property! Loved our stay in Johans Vermeer apartment!! Pros: So roomy, well equipped, extremely convenient and close to all sights, shopping and restaurants! Quiet! So quiet for being in the city!! Cons: Not many, just note that the 2nd bedroom is extremely steep and small staircase you nust turn feet sideways, haha. AND getting into and out of the shower is frightening its quite high and slick.

Very well located (short walks to Riksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Concertgebouw), on a quiet canal. The Frans Hals apartment is on the back, with a garden view (but no access to the garden), and very quiet. Major negative is tiny bedroom, barely big enough for double bed. Good bathroom and shower, adequate kitchenette. Dishwasher is tricky: won’t start unless upper tray is pushed all the way in, including the tabs at the sides.

The Dutch Masters is the perfect place for first time or veteran Amsterdam visitors. The location is perfect- right by an active tram stop, an easy walk to the Rijksmuseum and Leidersplien where there were excellent food options. We woke up every morning and drank our espresso in the spacious, well equipped, and very comfortable living room that overlooked the canal. There is no elevator, but the 37 steps up to the Rembrandt van Rijn room were well worth it to stay in such an exceptionally well maintained property. Our trip wouldn’t have been as wonderful without the hospitality and accommodations of the Ditch Masters.

Good location for food and shopping and transportation But we had shower over the bath in our disability unit which can be a problem if people can’t get over the bath

I enjoyed my stay at Dutch Masters! The apartment was spacious and had everything I needed for a week-long stay. I felt safe in the secure building. The staff was always available via WhatsApp if I needed anything and they were very communicative. Highly recommend!

My friend and I loved our stay at the Dutch Masters! We stayed for 1 week in the Willem De Kooning room and it was perfect. It is within the heart of the city, so it’s perfectly walkable to any major attractions, shops, and restaurants. We highly recommend this to anyone and would definitely return!

This place was perfect. Clean, communication was great, has everything you need for your stay. Area is walkable, but it’s just far enough away from the touristy areas making it the best location. The tram is just a minute up the road if walking is not for you. Pretty views all around. I will definitely stay here again on the next Amsterdam trip

We had great experience at this place We stayed for 7 nights. The management is very responsive. It’s old historic building We stayed in Rembrandt room overlooking canal. Lovely views. Our apartment had 2 bedrooms and was well equipped with kitchen and laundry closet. Location was the best. We walked to all major attractions- Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, Anne Frank huis, Vondelpark, great dining options close by. Highly recommend this property

Hotel is located within a 10-15 minute walking distance of everything!! It’s right on a canal with a great restaurant right next door (Red). Christel, the property manager, is so nice and you can reach her all the time. I can’t wait to go back

We really enjoyed staying here. The apartment is spacious and was very clean. The location is excellent! We hardly used transit. We walked everywhere. We were glad that we had our woolies. Because it is such an old building, it was a bit drafty. We had some trouble getting the place warm enough. Christol was very helpful. We would stay again.

Great fun to stay in apartment across the hall from my grandchildren. Set up was perfect. My daughter has already recommended Dutch Masters to a couple of grandparents wanting to visit Amsterdam with family. Great location with all kind of stores around the corner.

It was a pleasant place to stay — quiet, good housekeeping, had all the features that I needed, great location — but for the price it was a bit disappointing. The bedroom was tiny and the lighting in the living room was not adequate for reading.

Perfect place in a quiet street inside the historic old Amsterdam for exploring the city.

This is probably one of the best apartments we’ve ever stayed in. The place was immaculate and perfectly located. We were in the Karel Appel apartment which is on the top floor. Gorgeous canal views from the front and a large deck at the back with views of De Rijksmuseum. They provide everything you need and Christel was amazing to work with. Very good at prompt communication and answered all of our questions. We were surprised when arriving back at the apartment after a day out and found that someone had come in to take our trash but they were happy to stop doing so once we asked. Most visitors would probably love that service so I don’t consider it a problem of any sort. The only issue we had was the steepness of the stairs. We counted almost 80 stairs from the ground to the bedrooms and some of them are almost sheer vertical. Don’t be like us and show up with half a dozen large heavy suitcases. You’ll hate yourself for the entire first day. But overall, we loved this apartment so much that we will definitely stay there every time we’re in Amsterdam. Heck, I’d buy it if they’d let me.

Other than providing a little tinfoil or plastic wrap for leftovers and better pillows it was great. Highly recommend!
