A little off the beaten path, but this what makes it so appealing. Bicycle friendly, and quiet hotel for those seek these qualities. Just for those who care, it is a basic hotel room. You won’t find clock radios, bar fridge or irons in your room. I don’t need those things so it was perfect. Super friendly staff and great breakfasts. When I come back to Utrecht, this will be the hotel I choose again.

We stayed for two nights, and while the hotel is a bit worn out the place is clean.

The staff was extremely friendly. However there seemed to be a great deal of confusion when it came to how much to actually charge me for tourist tax, parking, and service fees…which was a little annoying. Also we ordered food from the red to our room. The staff said that they could, and would bring it to our room. When the order was ready they called for us to go and get it. Also refused to give us utensils to eat with…

You cant go wrong with IBIS! We have stayed in them around the world and you cant beat the price, fabulous & professional staff, clean facilities, and very efficiently laid out rooms. Highly recommend staying here in Utrecht, quiet area, easy to get around with public transportation, and wish we had been more aware that there was hotel bikes! Missed opportunity on our part.

Wall was dirty, right beside my bed. It’s a visible stain that should have been easy to wipe down. Other than that, it was good enuf. We were given a kettle with choice of tea, but no coffee which was unusual.

Good hotel not far from tram stop. Free parking.

I did enjoy the nice and comfortable stay, staff were kind and understanding, only issue was the fact that they had no iron or refrigerator or microwave. Overall Pretty good, tram about 4 min away from the hotel where it takes you to Nova Winkelcentrum/Utrecht Centraal.

The hotel is fabulous, really clean, beautiful location, comfortable and the shower was actually hot and powerful! What sets this hotel apart is the staff, though, they are all truly wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. They sell everything you could need in the reception too, so if you are forgetful like we were on this trip, you don’t need to worry!

Good value for the money. Room was comfortable. Free parking was the deciding factor. Good selection for the free breakfast.

I was very disappointed that i booked a room for 2 but only 1 breakfast was included. Also i was told that they don't cater for vegetarians. This is shocking.

Nice clean hotel, outside Utrecht. Only 3 tram stops to central train station. Nice air conditioner to. Small bedroom and bathroom but comfortable and clean with amazing staff

There is street work around the hotel every where are blocked

The room is excellent in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The staff is friendly. The hotel does seem to cater to a business/conference audience, not tourists. The place is in a residential neighbourhood about 2 km from the train station and old town. It can be a tough walk if you have some luggage bags. There are 2-3 neighbourhood restaurants and a supermarket about 10 minutes of walking away and that's pretty much it in the immediate area. A small shopping mall with a few grocery stores and fast food joints are about 20 minutes of walking away.

Would be very convenient to include a pot to make hot water for coffee or tea. A room refrigerator would also be a nice amenity. It shouldn't be so difficult to obtain an extra bed-pillow when asked.

Very convenient location, the staff extremely nice and helpful. They really go the extra mile. Nice location close the canals, where I enjoyed walk. The rooms are clean and the food fantastic.

Staff is helpful and speaks English. Hotel is right on a bus line into old part of town and the canals. Pleasant stay, but empty food dishes were not removed from my room when it was cleaned.
