The staff were nice and pleasant, they aren’t really there but you can reach them quickly by WhatsApp. One was super helpful and took me to the laundry. Very kind! The location is fantastic to use the trams. The shower was nice and the room was big enough by Euro standards. What ruined it for me was the bed. It was absolutely horrible. I did not get one good night of sleep. It’s just a box with a mattress topper, not a proper mattress. Just hard, sunken in and lumpy. The point of the hotel is to have a place to rest, I did not get a good rest on this trip. I would avoid.

Very expensive for what you get. Very steep flights of stairs which are not for anyone over 40. Breakfast not included. Room plumbing poor as drain smells.

We really enjoyed our stay at Morgan & Mee’s. The receptionist/waitress was extremely helpful, we unfortunately did not get her name but she was an absolute pleasure to interact with. The rooms were a bit hard to store our stuff in because of the odd shaping however we would definitely come back to stay again!

This hotel was lovely. We traveled with a 10 month old and they were kind to give us a room in the top floor so we had quiet away from the road noise. There are stairs (as this is common with architecture in AMS). The staff was attentive, kind and accomodative. The location of the hotel was great as well, walking distance to the lovely Jordaan neighbourhood and accessible to Trams.

Upon arrival the staff greeted very warmly, check in was easy. We arrived early and knew the room was not ready. Was welcomed to have a beverage and food while waited. Wait was less than 30 minutes. The manager was an amazing gentleman, Stuart (English version). At every chance possible, he made us comfortable, welcome, and appreciated. He and the entire staff were always so friendly and accommodating. Coming down from the room or coming in we were always greeted and welcomed often with chit chat asking about our day/night out, sleep, or day to day things. We have never felt as comfortable in an accommodation, bar and the restaurant. All staff members were extremely well trained, knowing the details of different positions and could do them all (privileges permitting). The room was amazing, extremely modern, newly renovated, immaculately clean. Housekeeping came each day and did an amazing job. The restaurant operated at a 5 star level all the time. The menu had a great range of choices. Each dish/ serving cooked to perfection. If considering an elevated accommodation in Amsterdam, Morgan and Mees should be top of the list. Boutique hotel at it’s best.

We had a wonderful stay at Morgan & Mees! ALL of the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, could not have been more helpful! We had breakfast and a dinner there; food was delicious, with a wide, varied menu. Our room was very clean, and bed was very comfortable! We would highly recommend staying here!

Gorgeous hotel, the deluxe bedroom certainly was up to expectations. Dinner was delicious and they catered for my allergy brilliantly. Staff very friendly and efficient.

I loved my room(#1). The tall ceilings, the bathroom details, the terrace out front. Every day of my 4 night stay I was provided with bottled water, snacks(complimentary)and came back to a room that was meticulously cleaned environment.

Great stay! Truly recommend. Room was spacious and clean. Service was fabolous. Breakfast (surcharge) was delicious. Shower was indulging.

What a joy to be able to experience this lovely gem of a stay. Every member of the staff was warm, friendly and kind. The decor- darling, the bar- fabulous and the restaurant, delicious!
