Not bad......…………………………………………………………………………………….......

Location is very well close with shopping main street and a lot of coffee shops restaurants near by. But the room is very small can't open the 29 inch backgage.

The room was not cleaned properly. The remote for the TV was missing. We did not include breakfast with our stay. We had breakfast at Mama's pancake and it was great. The location is superb. Tram no. 4 and 14 stops across from the hotel with service to the Central Station. Lots of restaurants close by.

petit déjeuner insipide et cheap manque de choix produits gras 1 seul café ou thé par personne … pour 19€ par tête Pas d’eau chaude dans la chambre le jour du départ le réceptionniste qui vous réponds oui oui mais ne fait rien pour l’eau chaude. les serviettes changées pour rien mais les lits non faits Bref a part l’emplacement ( et encore a condition d’etre coté cour sinon très bruyant jusqu’à 3 h du matin) je ne recommande absolument pas

Rummet och allt annat i sig var bra men det var kallt över allt. Värmen på rummet fungerade enbart när man var i rummet. Blir inte bra när det är ett fåtal grader ute och fönstren är enkelglas. Personalen serverade frukosten i jackor....

Hotellet og restaurant var kold - personalet gik rundt med store frakker på - varmen blev slukket nå vi forlod rummet - 12C når vi kom tilbage efter udstillingen. aldrig mere dette hotel. skip Royal - det passer overhovedet ikke til det hotel.

Ingen varme på værelset - varmen slukker når man forlader værelset. Restaurant var så kold at personalet bag store frakker for at holde varmen- fjern Royal og kald det for et hotel. Kommer ikke igen

Staff were friendly

as always the staff was amazing, especially sam. great rooms and locations great hotel

Good hotel, excellent location and a decent breakfast to start the day. It is noisy outside, but it is Amsterdam😃

Hard to get an uber due to nearby street construction.

The room was very small and the hotel smelt like a dirty litter box. The beds had hairs in them and you could tell the floors and walls had not been washed in a very very long time. The breakfast buffet was overall ok but there were some things that looked potentially old (not fresh).

It was a good place overall. Near the tourist area.

Pros - Check in was friendly enough - I do note was convenient for arrival time after travel delays. Grateful for English speaking. Good location. Safe door systems to stairs and lift use - good protection for anyone wandering in. Cons - Room size restrictive, one way system to pass another person. Tea and coffee in room facility terrible - the only plug sockets available are on an adapter right beside the pillow. To boil the kettle, you have to set up on the floor next to the bed. No milk, told there might be a fee for milk so didn't bother any further, saved me from making drinks on the floor anyway. Odd bed lamp coming away from the headboard. Drippy shower head (ie. Once off, it just kept dripping), low water pressure, bit of a cheap shower head. Safe in the wardrobe needs replacing, the door needed to be lifted in a particular way to open again. + Woke up with someone else's long hair stuck to my face. Average at best, definitely not a 4 star hotel as proclaimed online in places.

Small rooms which is the norm in Amsterdam, breakfast was ok, coffee was great but we ate at the restaurant one night and it was poor. Overall we would return as the location is great and straight off the tram from the main train station (4 or 14 tram)
