Stay was two nights. Clean property, good beds, well supplied. Big car park. Great for access to CBD.

The receptionist was extremely helpful. He allowed us to leave our bags (it was before check-in) while we returned our hire car, had lunch and did some shopping and also when we were leaving as we weren't going to the Airport until later in the day. The room was modern, very clean and comfortable. The price was also good. I booked this establishment as it was close to the train from Greymouth and although unfortunately we had to cancel that part of our journey due to a road closure, we kept the booking and found it easy to access from the highway when coming from Timaru.

Safe motel on a busy intersection in an area convenient to restaurants, groceries, shopping, etc.
Parking is free but limited. After being out til late I parked on the street only 1/2 block away.
Super-clean with very strong door & window security (I was onthe ground floor & felt totally safe from possible intrusion).
Unfortunately, you hear anything that happens in the hallway - there is nothing dampening that noise.

We chose this motell as we were going on The tranz alpin trip to Arthurs pass next morning. Motell is newly built and good condition. Good with AC as it was very hot.

Despite the room was not very big the facilities eg bathroom, appeared to be very new and in excellent condition. Delightful!
The beds were very comfortable.
A couple of auxiliary lights did not work but I alerted reception to this on departure. The staff were very friendly.

We bad booked months in advance so were surprised to be allocated the disability unit, which we did not require. It had access directly onto the carpark and a seat in the shower. Which is probably awesome for someone who needs that. It was an unusual allocation / experience for our one night getaway to attend the Thom Yorke concert at the Wolfbrook Arena nearby.
