Alexandra gets very cold in winter, but our unit had a heater to keep us warm and piles of blankets for a cosy sleep for all of us. We were also very lucky to have a unit with a carport so we didn't have to remove frost from the car for our early start next morning.

Lovely little old-school motel, well kept, spotlessly clean and bright as a new pin. The host was very welcoming and gave us a spacious room with a verandah overlooking the beautiful garden. Good cooking facilities, excellent shower, high ceilings and plenty of sunshine. The guest laundry and friendly cat were a bonus. Short distance from town and super quiet at night.We'd stay again without hesitation.

The accommodation was very spacious and very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Our children loved the beautiful garden and playground. Friendly staff and very close to the Otago Central Rail Trail. Thanks for a great stay!
