Clean

Beds are quite uncomfortable, whole unit is very noise floors. Hard to sleep well.

The whole experience was awesome.The service from the staff was outstanding.

Rustic on the outside, modern on the inside and very comfortable. Right off 25, walkable to town, so a great location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Smooth checkin. Lots of parking space close to (stairs to) the room. Fine view from the room on first floor. Lots of space and a fine balcony. Nice beds and all in all a fine, recommendable stay

Nice place. Shame they can't read the booking information. Booked clearly for 3 people and asked for 2 beds. Got 1 bed and they were surprised there was 3 of us. Supposedly the bed there was a king size, but has to be the smallest king bed of all time. My queen size bed is bigger. Travel to Coromandel very frequently, thought I'd try staying the night as an optio. For the future, but this experience just reinforced the fact that its better just to drive back each trip.

Host was very welcoming, thankyou. Setting of accommodation was amazing, short walk to collect essentials, surroundings beautiful.

Basic, but clean and comfortable. Nice view of the lake from window. Good shower! About 8 mins walk to shopping area.

Really enjoyed the spacious and comfortable rooms. The pool and hot tub were a pleasant surprise after cycling for 60km

Loved this motel. It was clean, friendly staff and very helpful. We had an ocean view out our front window and a jungle behind us. I felt like we were in a tree house.

Overall a nice stay, not much to do in the area so we wanted to unwind and relax. No ACs in the rooms so the room was hot, the wifi was useless but that's not why we were there. Overall, I think the place was quite expensive for what you got in comparison to the other 10 hotels we stayed in on our long travel journey.

We loved our stay at Anchor Lodge Motel, rooms very clean and comfortable, Sue couldn't have been a better nicer host. Absolutely recommend a stay here.

I had a good time at the Anchor Lodge. Really nice beds and lots of kitchen amenities. The one thing I didn’t enjoy was the shower: it was just a shower head in the corner of the bathroom - no raised platform, so the bathroom floor was constantly wet. Other than that, this place is a great stay for Coromandel. It’s located right next to great restaurants and activities.

Easily accessible to the town. Beautiful walking paths. Friendly townspeople. Gorgeous weather and nice pool area.
