Good location, about 10 minutes walk to downtown. From our room, we had a good view to Lake Wakatipu. Manager kindly prepared breakfast every morning and it tasted good. The room is small. One thing have to mention is a bad smell from drainage hole after shower. However, we had a disappointed experience. We forgot our souvenir in the room after checking out. I suppose that manager and housekeeper had found it in our room, but they did not mention it when we went back to Chalet at noon. I know that it was our negligence, but manager should give us a notice when we did not leave Chalet yet.

Great place with a fantastic breakfast. The owners really know how to cook! Conveniently located and a short walk to the city center and access to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable with beautiful views from the deck.

We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoy the motel, cozy and comfortable room, and owners are pretty friendly.

Staff personable and helpful

Property and furnishings are a little dated and surroundings on property a bit untidy. However the service was very good. Location is good, had some awesome views of lake and mountains. Felt about right for what we paid.

The manager was so welcoming. Loved our stay. Easy walk into town a bit of an uphill walking back. Highly recommended.

Deborah was a great hostess and went out of her way to be accommodating and helpful! Our room was neat, clean and the furnishings were new and in great shape. The breakfast was delicious - we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent & friendly service and was given choice of rooms. The place seemed a little worn and room was tight on space. Needs new hair dryer and heater in bathroom

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Attraktionen waren super. Die Rezeption hat auch die Buchung von Tischen in den Restaurants und für die Queenstown Gondel für uns vorgenommen. Also Rundumservice

Clean and well-equipped room in a small hotel. It was nice that the hotel wasn't quite on the main road but quite close to it. We enjoyed our 2-night stay here. Staff was helpful.

A great place to stay. Really great service. The receptionist/cook/cleaner was the best! So lovely. Beautiful view. A little noisy but not too bad. Good breakfast. Recommend this place.

Can't say enough about how friendly the staff are here--really made all the difference in the world! SO above and beyond! And breakfast was delicious--definitely exceeded my expectations!

We really enjoyed our stay. No view from our room, however, we were barely there. The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful with everything. My only criticism would be the beds (mattresses), which were fine but not great.
