We really liked the Commodore and would have stayed longer. Spacious rooms, big and tasty restaurant, great staff. Exceeded our expectations.

Booked the Commodore for a quick overnight and it was perfect. I arrived after midnight and was warmly greeted. The front desk even insisted on a porter for the bags as I was on the 2nd floor and there were stairs. I caught an early shuttle to the airport and it was ready on time. You can tell they care here and put effort into good service.

Good facilities and service was excellent....breakfast had so many options ....it was a great treat to have the indoor pool as well

Really good place to stop before leaving on an early flight. It would also be a god place to stop if arriving in Christchurch after a long flight. Shuttle service very good andcefficient. Food service very good. Swimming pool and recreation areas great.

This place is awesome! Great pool, the best service, very nice rooms …we liked it so much at the beginning of our trip we finished our trip here as well. We stay at lots of hotels this is one of the very best and the service is the very best!

The Commodore is so convenient (especially being so close to the airport with free shuttle service) and has such wonderful staff! As others have shared, we highly recommend the Commodore. The rooms are quite pleasant (much better in-person than they appear online), there isn’t a lot of noise despite being so close to the airport, and there is a great range of offerings at breakfast.

Suited the requirements of our young family of four well. Closely situated near the airport for a very early morning flight. Quiet. Comfortable. Clean. Very nicely surprised by the quality of the meal at hotel restaurant Pattersons.
