One of the best stays I’ve ever had. On arrival we were greeted by lovely staff, who couldn’t do enough for us during our whole stay. The view from the room was breathtaking. The rooms themselves are large and have all the facilities required. We prepaid for breakfast and are so glad we did, absolutely delicious. Our only regret is not staying for longer. We cannot wait to return! Worth every penny.

Stayed here late Jan 2019. Initial concern was hotel is under construction and might appear older than the photos on official website (given some photos of the hotel from a few years ago before renovation posted by guests). The concern turned out to be unnecessary and the hotel is fully renovated and almost impeccable. I would have imagined a price twice as much for this hotel. Probably the greatest view you can get of Lake Waktipu without leaving your bed, and quite close to downtown. Restaurant and bar are boutique but fairly decent with great views too. Only thing the hotel could consider doing in the future is to have more facilities (jacuzzi for example). Don’t be deterred by the earlier comments online that the hotel was still in construction - it is largely done by the time I went and wouldn’t affect your experience. Do genuinely hope this hotel to continue its success.
