Amazing luxury

This property is "a little piece of heaven." It was our second time visiting from the U.S. and a big reason we came back to New Zealand was to experience this wonderful property again. It did not disappoint. It is one of our favorite places we have been to - ever! And we have traveled a lot. Can't say enough good things.

Everyone at this hotel was very accommodating. Beautiful rooms with great views. Breakfast was great each morning, and Nicky was a fantastic server going above and beyond. Dinner was also very good. It is outside the central rotoura area and as such most tours won’t pick you up there, but it is a 10 min drive into town and we found it very easy to get an uber quickly, so no issues getting around.

Our check-in felt a bit awkward—we were told many (many) times how the property and views are “quite stunning” as we were shown around. Everything else was very nice. Room had a great view, and we really liked the breakfast (and breakfast staff). Parking on the hill was tricky!

Everything about this resort was exceptional!

Truly an exquisite stay! The decor and attention to detail were breathtaking, and the spaces were both comfortable and offered amazing views of the lake. It felt private yet perfectly catered to our needs. The dining options were exceptional, with thoughtful consideration for a variety of dietary preferences. Highly recommended!

Wonderful 2 night stay in the 2 bedroom apartment on this lovely property. The staff and service was outstanding. The apartment was perfect with two completely seperate bedrooms and bathrooms a common livingroom with small table and kitcehnette. Ideal for a family of 4 or two couples. Private jaccuzi, in unit washer and dryer and fantastic view of the lake.

Beautiful location

It was a beautiful hotel that used to be a private residence. Everything was very clean and luxurious. The staff was amazing.

Everything was perfect for us on the day , We went on a helicopter trip and lunch in town. Then checked into the hotel, what' a spot.

Fantastic in every way, including facilities, location, staff and services. One of the most memorable experiences ever, and I've been travelling for work and pleasure my entire adult life. You should definitely stay at On the Point at least once.

There are sheep and donkeys, you can feed

Relaxing resort, beautiful and excellent staff and the meals, breakfast and dinners were just fantastic. Dinners were fine dinning quality with fabulous presentation.

The setting was superb! Views and animals right off the deck. Lovely staff. Wonderful food. We will stay here again!

Way exceeded my expectation! Excellent service and facilities. Quite friendly for families with little kids. If the rating was 10, I would rate 12! Great stay!

Beautiful and calming surroundings. A wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature's beauty. We were treated to picturesque sunrise and sunset views each day. The staff members are extremely friendly and responsive. We especially enjoyed the breakfast and engaging with the animals on property, especially the donkeys and pony who came up to our cottage fence for treats. Our massages by Svetlana were perfect. She has magical hands and takes the time to ask your preferences before she gets to work. Will definitely return if I am lucky to visit NZ again.
