Tthe room smelt like something has burnt on arrival. Found out it was coming from the microwave and it wasnt working neither was the bed lamp. The internet reception wasnt the best and made it difficult to watch a movie glad i had my computer. The heating was difficult to get below 30 degrees. The bed was indented on one side and was fairly uncomfortable. When i informed recept was told maintanence was back the next day but i was out at conference so unsure if it got fixed. The hallway was not vacummed in the two days i was there and it needed it. Otherwise it was ok but for the cost i would have expected a bit more attention to detail.

Mostly a good stay. Good location and easy check-in. Air conditioning was broken and noisy. Room was very warm. I called reception to seek help only to be told the air con is broken in all rooms. Would have been nice to be told that on check-in so I knew to turn it off earlier. Fortunately weather outside was pleasant so just left the balcony door open slightly to cool the room down.

Room and building was aa expected for the price I paid. Room wasn’t clean. Hair on the sink and dirty sheets was a surprise. Nice bathtub tho. Parking was not ideal as I was given a car park number right at the end of the bottom floor just to find out the number doesn’t exist. I was given parking #41 and the numbers stopped at 40. Upon going back up to check with reception, they gave me instructions on where #41 was - it was in a car park marked as #15. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Great central location with a nice view

Wasnt happy with the fact the aircon wasnt working and the reception didnt let us know when i checked in. Didnt tell me until i rang up to ask because it was so hot in my room. Only for them to then say it was under maintenance. Made my room unvearable as it was so stuffy. Also the tv wasnt working with the chrome cast so i was unabke to use that too.

Slightly dodgy area but location is nice and close to everything. Lovely big rooms, with everything you need, in room spa is awesome , staff are friendly,

浴槽で湯に浸かれるのが良かったです。浴槽なしの部屋もあるようなので、予約時に確認した方が良いと思います。たった3泊ですが、市中心部が徒歩圏内、清潔で設備の良い部屋で暮らすような気分で滞在出来ました。部屋のバルコニーから夕日とスカイタワーが見えたのも素敵でした。スタッフの方は皆親切でフレンドリーで、困った事があったら丁寧に最善の対応をしてくださりとても助かって有り難かったです。良い滞在でした。

Staff were really nice, however the room wasn’t very clean, mould and soap scum build up on bath and all throughout the grout in the shower, mirror hasn’t been cleaned, walls and kitchen cupboards covered in finger marks. The worse part was the aircon was broken through the whole hotel so our room sat at around 27 degrees which was very uncomfortable.

Parkside hotel was a great location to end our 2 week stay in New Zealand. After lots of hiking, we were thankful for a jacuzzi tub and a laundry machine. Would highly recommend!

Spacious and clean room.

It was easy to locate. 15 minute drive to hobbiton. It was very clean. We made microwave food we had stored in the fridge. I like a firm bed, but they were comfortable and nice. The shower was excellent with hot water and pressure. Not every place we stayed I could say that about. I would stay there again.

very handy to the Aotea centre and Town hall for events, Elliot stables for dining options, secure underground parking available on site (pays to book though) Staff are very helpful and there is a small mini mart across the road for drinks and snacks etc.

Das Hotel ist etwas entfernt von der Innenstadt, aber der Bus hält direkt am Hotel und ist sehr preiswert. Ausstattung, Sauberkeit und Service sind sehr gut. Für ein Hotel in der Stadt sehr ruhig.

There was no air-conditioning in my room. The temperature was 28 degrees in my room. I reported it and the front desk advised me to open my door. There were no air-conditioned rooms available. I opened the patio door and was bitten by mosquitoes. When I returned for my second stay 5 days after my first stay, I was given different room, but it also had no air-conditioning. There was a fan, but it did not help. Air-conditioning should be a priority repair. I booked this apartment hotel because I needed to do laundry after a long cruise.
