Firstly, the house is much more beautiful than the photos. The host has a super cute cat, I love it. Then, the room is clean. Lastly, because our car is damaged, the host help us to solve some problem, I had a happy stay here.

There aren't too many hotel/motels in Fox Glacier area so the rooms tend to be more expensive than hotel rooms elsewhere, but staying overnight in Fox Glacier/Franz Josef is worthwhile. The room is very large. The grassy backyard is particularly nice.
