Really nice location, modern and comfortable accomodation. Only improvements could be net curtains over doors and windows for privacy and smart TV otherwise a really nice place to stay

Picked a unit with sea view (lighthouse in distance) which really made it for us! Comfortable unit.

Dated property in quite a nice location on hill

Nice room, quiet area with a nice walk to the lighthouse.

Our ensuite was clean, updated, had a sofa for comfortable seating. It was small but we don’t mind small. The ocean view was limited. It’s located in a small village in a mostly residential area with only one restaurant that was closed the day we were there, which they had notified us in advance.

When we first arrived we were a little underwhelmed by this motel it does not make a good impression upon arrival. However once we in our large room and noted that it had recently been refreshed we were more appreciative. We then remembered how reasonably priced it was for such a large room and noted the excellent view from the room's balcony. Kaka Point is well worth a visit and this motel is a very worthy place to stay.

What a beautiful location. The motel is a stone's throw from the beach. The rooms are well equipped with everything you need to be self sufficient. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Parking was ample. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not too much available at Kaka Point, but there is a little shop and a restaurant. Beach view was stunning.

Wow! I really wasn't expecting much since this is a tiny and remote town, but this was our favorite hotel of the dozen or so we stayed at during our 3 weeks in NZ. Big, clean, great ocean view... We had the "Family Apartment" which you should specifically ask for if it is available...outstanding corner unit.

Great location if you’re visiting Nugget Point. The panoramic of the ocean from our open windows was fantastic.

The room we had was well set up with just about anything needed for kitchen supplies. The view from the kitchen and balcony was spectacular. We were very comfortable here and would happily stay longer next time.

Our 2 bedroom unit was clean and comfortable with an absolutely stunning view of the ocean.

Awesome operators, helpful and friendly, heater was turned on for our late arrival on a chilly winters night, with a helpful late checkout. Amazing views to wake up to. Cheers guys

I liked the quiet setting and late afternoon sun and morning sun rise, it was nice to get out of town, will come again
