Very warm, down to earth, welcoming hosts who go beyond expectations to ensure an enjoyable and relaxed experience.
This place is a gem! Noel & Di welcomed us into their home, and it was so lovely after a series of slightly soulless hotels we stayed in during our travels around South Island. It’s a quirky place but all the better for it! We ate at a restaurant called Rocks in Invercargill and the steaks were excellent. Thanks to Noel for his recommendations on the Catlins.
This place was beautiful, comfortable and wonderfully outfitted with lovely linens and decor.
It’s very private and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a very easy short walk to a beautiful park with trails, sculptures and a rose garden. In addition there’s a wonderful restaurant very nearby called Buster Crabb.
Homemade breakfast was terrific including yogurt, fruit, granola, eggs with bacon and toast….and excellent flat white coffee.
Most importantly, the hosts were so warm and welcoming — truly delightful people who we enjoyed getting to know.
This was really a memorable experience that exceeded our overall expectations for Invercargill !
