Clean and tidy family unit, reception were so friendly and helpful

Nothing unique but a standard motel as one would expect. Didn't like? Having to book on line as I believe booking sites are screwing the industry.

Awesome place, friendly staff, very comfortable accomodation, highly recommended.

Great views from the apartment we stayed in.

Loved the beach Bach was perfect for a group/family and walkable to beach. Grateful that it was safe with the rising arm gate which would let you in with the swipe card. Do wish the property we stayed in was fully gated including car so kids could run around the yard we had but it’s close to the main driveway for the holiday park. Doesn’t affect score as it was such a perfect spot and Bach/house loved it

Decent sized unit with everything you need for a family stay. Close to the beach and walking distance to town. Some noise from the road but not too bad.

I had booked another property, but had to rebook my entire trip after testing positive for Covid and that hotel was not available. This is a very family oriented complex with many different kinds of accommodations. All That was available for me was their apartment, which was fine though I really did not need all of the kitchen facilities. I did appreciate all that space for a change though. The bathroom had soap and towels left over from the last guest. I made the reservation with Hotels.com which requested a deposit for my three nights stay. But they charge me for the full stay ahead of time. And I’m observing that this may be a problem with Gisborne accommodations: my original pre-Covid hotel, charged me for the full stay six months out ahead of time. I wrote that property and requested a refund which they did give me. I definitely suggest guests in Gisborne keep an eye out that the payment and payment arrangements are what they agreed to on Hotels.com

The only reason we gave a 4 was due to the pool being closed one day of our stay otherwise it was absolutely awesome

We really enjoyed that the property was intersting and engaging for our son. The heated indoor pool was a favourite. My wife and I like being so close to town and the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable but the cooking facilities were cramped and some basic untensils weren't provided. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay.

Great convenient place, excellent staff and room was clean. Only fault was the shower pressure was terrible. Basically dribbled out the shower head which could do with replacing.

Friendly welcome when checking in. Need your key to get in to the property when you go past the office though. It’s a sensor gate. Variety of rooms to choose from. I stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Bunk, single and queen. Has a small lounge but modern bathroom. Welll kept and enough for my family and me. Don’t know if it was worth the $300 though but grateful to get the room at the last minute.

Great site!, staff were super friendly, kids loved the pool & playground. Will definitely be back 😊

Our stay was wonderful. Close to amenities and an all round relaxing atmosphere.

All the hotels were full and this was an acceptable alternative for 2 x travellers on business
