The property suite our requirements very well. We liked that was clean, comfortable and quiet. Recommended

I did not have big expectatin about this location, but it was ok for what it is : a campsite. We were comfortale and had most of what we needed. the only problem is that after sometime the cold water became a bit brownish, so basically we had to survive using the hot water only.

Peaceful and great to go kayaking to the beach from the property

Nice and quiet friendly greeting on arrival, clean and well located ,unit a little old but feels homely, enjoyed our stay thanks Jo.

The reception lady was lovely however the room was not very clean waz very old and outdated room that smelt musty Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable shower pressure was bad and no heating had to use an oil heater, dinning chair's were broken Would never stay there again Was very over priced They need to upgrade everything about the rooms

Nice setting, there was no one at the offices, no communication, a mouse ran across the floor Overall we did enjoyed our stay.

Property is good for the stayers & specially family ad there's plenty of space for kids to play and roam within the property.

The unit we stayed needed to do big maintenance starting from Bathroom and finishing windows (shower was leaking, it was hard to close windows) and couple of fans in the unit would be great as it was very hot and kids could not sleep at all. so was not quite enjoyable stay.

Friendly quiet atmosphere, well presented cabin, and grounds were well kept.

Cottage had old school charm, felt like a kiwi batch. But in need of an upgrade in the kitchen and bathroom especially.

So far so good. If one token could take 10 mins hot water shower would be good

We're A couple and two friends who really enjoyed our one night's stay. Everything was as expected. The beds were comfortable. We bought our own sheets as requested and actually bright own pillows too. The ones provided were quite thin so one could double up if needed. We ended up with two double beds and plenty of space for our overnight stay. The showers (token operated for five minutes hot water) were very spacious. Please note there is no soap in the toilet though this is to be expected. It rained heavily and was very windy overnight but we were extremely cozy and didn't get any disturbance. We enjoyed our stay and it was only 30 min drive to Hahei (hot water beach or trail to cathedral cove). Steve the caretaker was very helpful and great recommendation of Frankies Pub! It was good value for money (especially during high peak season) and highly recommended for people who have realistic expectations.

The price is great and the property is maintained and clean but the beds are very soft and the pillows are virtually non existent.

Lovely location but everything else was horrible. Only stay here if last resort and even then, reconsider your ability to drive to the next town.

The wifi wasn’t strong enough to reach all areas of the property

Great spot but needs upgrading badly. Cabins are old and tired and bedding was very average.

Really enjoyed my stay, would recommend!
