The property was absolutely lovely, the surrounding area and the town just as much so.

Excellent breakfast.

The property is well located in the heart of Flam with good access to the tourist information, Flam railway, busses and ferries. The room is located up a flight of stairs without a lift, with a trip hazzard at the top of the stairs. The room is old and dark. It doesn't have a safe or a fridge.We needed to use the torch on our phones to make a cup of tea or find somthing in our bags. The overhead light was dull and didn't work for part of our stay. The beds were very narrow and the room very hot. We couldn’t adjust the temperature successfully. The bathroom was o.k , except the metal covering on the shower hose had come off and one of the cords to the bedside table light was missing the outer casing. Breakfast was quite good. This hotel is more expensive than better hotels in Oslo and Sogndal.

Incredible location. The restaurant/bar building design was based on a traditional viking hall. But, rather than serving hefty chunks of meat (or whatever vikings traditionally ate) alongside the excellent beer brewed on the premises, the menu presented a good selection of tasty dishes incorporating local ingredients. Our meal was a great way to end a day in which we’d traveled the beautiful fyord by electric ferry and chillaxed on our balcony, enjoying the view of this incredible location.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Less than 5 min walk from the dock and train station. Right next to the restaurant and breakfast buffet which were both amazing. I imagine it’s fully booked most of high season so make your reservation early! Don’t want to miss out on this excellent opportunity to stay the night in Flam.

The hotel was wonderful. The pub was amazing.

Stayed 1 night to breakup the nutshell tour. Ate in the Viking restaurant. Food was good, staff super nice, limited menu choices. Cable not working in the room so no TV.

A small quiet town with beautiful scenery hidden in the fjords. The restaurant has good breakfast and dinner.

Was not impressed when arriving in the room and discovered the toilet was used and not flashed down. Only 2 tissue papers left in the tissue box, rubbish bin was filled with tissues from previous guests.

Have dinner at the Brew Pub, best short ribs I've ever had, amazing ambiance, great staff. Make sure to contact the hotel in advance to get reservations to either of thier resteraunts. Room was cozy and clean. View was wonderful, location to fjord tour and train terminal cannot be beat.

The property emailed me few days in advance asking if I would like reservation for dinner. I hadn’t considered that since it’s off season but went ahead and made one. We unfortunately missed the early ferry due to our train running behind earlier in the day. I reached out and hotel immediately changed my reservation to accommodate late arrival. By time we got to Flåm I was so grateful to be able to check in and head right to dinner. The restaurant was full with people waiting but we went right to a table. Great beer and AMAZING food. Staff were engaging and funny. Had a great evening.

Great hotel in Flåm, good location for bus, ferry and train. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, Viking pub next door for evening meals.

Great location. Balcony room looking out to the fjords which was lovely. Recommend Viking meal in pub, delicious! Good breakfast. Only negative comment was room was too hot. Had to sleep with door open.

Nice, clean and cosy hotel. Stayed for a night and had dinner at the Aeiger Bar next to hotel. Restaurant booking is reserved for hotel guests. Food is nice although meat are abit dry. Helpful reception staff.

The room was comfortable and clean, but the view from the balcony was absolutely priceless! Unfortunately, we grocery shopped counting on the refrigerator to work, but it was broken. The coffee maker was also broken. Still, a lovely place and the breakfast was fantastic!

This was my third stay, as always most enjoyable.
