I travel frequently to Oslo and normally I choose the Radisson blue which is a short walk from the main terminal. This time I decided to go with the scandal and I have to say the hotel more than met my expectations. The restaurant was good. They have a small bar area and an outdoor seating area that I thoroughly enjoyed. The room is exactly what you would expect from the Scandic chain. It was clean and relatively well appointed. I could’ve used a couple of extra pillows in the room, and the only detractor was that I could not control the temperature in the room as it seemed to be set centrally and it was relatively warm outside, so the room felt a little stuffy. For a hotel with this proximity to the runway, I will say that the noise levels were manageable, and in fact with the windows closed, the room was incredibly quiet. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

I could’ve used a couple of extra pillows in the room, and the only detractor was that I could not control the temperature in the room as it seemed to be set centrally and it was relatively warm outside, so the room felt a little stuffy. For a hotel with this proximity to the runway, I will say that the noise levels were manageable, and in fact with the windows closed, the room was incredibly quiet. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Vi havde betalt for et tre sengs rum men der var ingen opredning. Jeg påpegede det og fik at vide at jeg bare skulle åbne sofaen men der var intet sengetøj. Ny påpegning og de ville ordne det klokken 21 - klokken 22 var det ikke gjort og efter ny påpegning blev det ordnet 22:10

Flott hotel med trivelige ansatte. Godkjent frokostbuffet 👌
Men må nesten få trekk for å ikke ha mulighet til å kjøpe seg en øl i baren etter 2330 en Lørdagskveld etter en lang flytur, det var litt skuffende.
Bortsett fra det kommer vi gjerne tilbake.

Vi anlönde sent och var trötta och skulle upp tidigt. Då möts vi av en jättekö vid incheckning. 45 minuters kö för att få rumsnyckeln.
