Excellent cabin with everything you need. Looking forward to stay again for sure when I am back in the Artic.

Petite chambre

Cute little cottage with everything needed. The sauna on the site (cost 110 NOK/hr) was pretty good too. Amazing views.

I stayed in a charming little cabin at Svensby Tursenter on my tour of Northern Norway. It had everything inside you would desire of a little cabin. The host was excellent and explained very well what there was to do. I recommend staying at this cabin.

Notre chalet bénéficiait de tout le confort souhaité e : cuisine avec tous les éléments nécessaires, bonne literie avec linge de lit fourni, salle de bain disposant de serviettes de bain et d'un sèche-cheveux, salon agréable attenant à une petite terrasse. Calme absolu. Nous recommandons vivement !

The place is practically next to the Svensby ferry station, from which you can get to Breivikeidet and drive to Tromsø from there. The place is a small camping site for caravans and with a few cabins. We had a small cabin with kitchen, which worked well for us. The kitchen seemed renovated recently. The cabin had a small bedroom with a bunk bed, but the top bed wasn’t sturdy enough for an adult. We slept in the bottom bed which was a little wider but it was still quite a tight space for two people. There was no air conditioning, which means the bathroom didn’t dry up after a shower, and it was quite hot to sleep (can’t open the windows because of mosquitos).

We loved our stay there. We stayed in the large cabin. It was super clean and beds we’re comfortable. Super Cosy to spend evenings in front of the fire. Hege was very responsive and even loaned us free snow shoes for the stay. The fact that snow mobile and husky sledding tours run right from the property (dog sledding was 6min drive) was so convenient and we even got a discount since we were staying there. Can’t wait to return!

Wir hatten sehr schöne erholsame Tage während des Winters. Die Vermieterin war telefonisch erreichbar und jederzeit hilfreich. Die Hütte war bei Ankunft geheizt und weihnachtlich gemütlich beleuchtet. Die Betten waren durchgelegen, trotzdem haben wir gut geschlafen. Als Camper haben wir das Bad in der Hütte genossen. Für uns ist es absolut empfehlenswert.

Paikka oli oikein siisti ja sijaitsi hienolla paikalla. Juuri sopivan kokoinen, eli ei mikään liian iso kohde. Sisäänkirjautuminen periaatteessa loppujen lopuksi helppo mökkeihin, mutta selkeämmät ohjeet olisi hyvä olla.
