I've noticed that many hotels do not include a microwave, kettle, or refrigerator in the rooms. I opted for a hostel because of the access to a kitchen and other travelers to conversate with. The location is also very walkable from the city square and immerses you with the locals. A surprise was a large grocery store on the same block, which was great for getting a late night snack or drink at local prices. Lau dry services was also nearby.
My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent and quick to help out.

Our son got altitude sickness and I let them know more then 24hrs before that we needed to rebook for another day. They would not let us do that or give us any kind of refund. While our son was so sick they told us to come on the expected date.

There was no water, and we were directed to a hostel opposite. When we reached the hotel, I noticed that the place was under renovation.
