I am a biologist and I loved the experience at this lodge. The rooms were comfortable with quality sheets and towels changed daily. The food is excellent and prepared from local jungle resources. The guide spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna of which we saw lots. We were picked up at the airport and dropped off there afterwards. This company under Leon is very well organised. The lodge is located 3 hours by boat from Iquitos and has no internet and limited electricity using solar power. It was amazing to see things like monkeys and sloths and caiman in their natural environment, to fish for piranhas and other species,to enjoy dolphins both pick and grey swimming in the Amazon river, to see countless species of birds including toucans and macaws and to learn a little about the plant life and their medicinal uses. I would gladly recommend this to anyone wanting an authentic, well organised Amazon tour.
