Staff was super friendly and helpful. Perfect location to walk to the square. Affordable. They have a small breakfast with toast, freshly made eggs, ham, cheese, bananas, juice, and coffee. Coca and muna tea was always available, which was really nice when we got in. Fresh towels. Very quaint, full of character and the breakfast area had a view and small patio. I would recommend using WhatsApp for communication.

Be aware, there is no heat in the rooms. They will do laundry. One load of laundry cost 50s. Across the street from a school - causes traffic problems dropping kids off. Nice people run it and they accommodate odd hours.

At first they said they do not work witj expedia, when I told them I just booked them because i had an issue with another hotel booking, they were empathetic. Check in go on and attention was good. As it is close to Plaza de Armas, can be a bit noisy.

They had no records of my reservation. When I arrived at 8:30pm, the front desk said all rooms were booked and I would be unable to stay the night despite physically showing my Expedia reservation on my phone. Instead, they told me they were having ongoing problems with Expedia would be unable to room me for the night. When I asked how long they had this problem (because I booked weeks in advance), they stated this was an ongoing issue with Expedia and indicated that they have not attempted to resolved it. Additionally, they did not help me find alternative accommodations and I had to independently locate and walk 3 hotels on my own to find a last minute rooming situation. I would strongly not recommend booking with this hotel due to their prolonged technological issues and poor resolution strategies. I am now seeing previous reviews that this has happened in the past but I didn’t think this would happen to me. Good luck if you book with this hotel.

The hotel was completely abandoned very unsafe

The property was affordable and in walking distance to main historic district center. Nice hot shower. Great views of the mountains.

Horrível!!! Faltava água o tempo todo, tivemos que ir para passeios sem tomar banho por quase 2 dias pq nunca tinha água! Peguei uma água na recepção para lavar pelo menos as partes íntimas e ainda cobraram a água rs No primeiro dia teve algum mal entendido que fomos acordadas e “convidadas” a fazer o checkout relatando que tinha mais pessoas no quarto, porém não tinha! Era eu e mais uma amiga, o rapaz da recepção entrou no nosso quarto sem nem bater na porta nem nada, total falta de respeito! Para chegar tem que subir uma ladeira que é mto mto cansativo! Café da manhã muito ruim, sem opções, café aguado! Não costumo fazer reclamação dos hoteis que fico, pq entendo que alguns imprevistos podem acontecer, mas esse foi demais! Não indico para ninguém!

Arrived for check in late at night after hiking for the prior four days, only to discover that my reservation was cancelled. I had not received any warning or notice of this change. It was extremely inconvenient to try to find taxis and a place to stay at 9pm last minute. I believe the hotel is not charging me for my stay; however, they should also owe me fees for taxis and the difference in hotel fee that I had to pay for that evening.

Family that owns the hostal is very nice but there was limited hot water, spiders, mediocre breakfast, and pretty poor location on top of a giant hill.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. We had a room with Mountain View and it was lovely to wake up to that view every morning. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of storage space for our stuff in the room. The room and bathroom were very clean. We liked how they would come make up the bed, change our towels, take out the garbage and tidy up our room every single day. The breakfast provided was not a lot but just enough. They always had hot water and coca leaves or tea available for their guests, As for the staff, they always greeted us with a smile and tended to any request we had. We have had bad experiences with hostels before and was very hesitant to stay in a hostel again. We booked this place because it was a good price. We arrived there with low expectations but this place exceeded them. We recommend staying here, and we would definitely stay here whenever we go to Cusco again.

I highly recommend this beautiful place. The owner was very helpful and kind. I would stay here again. Thank you so much Alvaro for helping me with my bus and train tickets to Aguas Caliente. Thank you for helping me while I had a terrible altitude sickness. Thank you for all that you’ve done for me while visiting Cusco.

Esse hotel foi escolhido a partir da aplicação do filtro: estacionamento grátis. No entanto, após indicarem o local para estacionar o carro não informaram que seria pago. Ao retirar o caro tive que arcar com os custos sem estar preparado para isso. Há informação de estacionamento grátis na apresentação do hotel não é verdadeira. Tentei argumentar com o hotel, mas o proprietário afirmou que não sabe como essa informação foi incluída. Ou seja, sai no prejuízo.

Place looks great , but some times night too much noise and sounds , other than that everything is super.

They give direction how to get there, very friendly people but the shuttle not free we have to paid for it.

Great View and area, friendly accommodating staff. My only complaint would be the breakfast plates are too small so you leave crumbs everywhere 😅
