Crowne Plaza MANILA GALLERIA, an IHG Hotel

My wife and I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Crowne Plaza Manila, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by a few issues. While the hotel's location is convenient and the rooms are comfortable, there were several aspects that fell short of our expectations. The room we received was average, with a notable exception - a large cockroach in the bathroom. This was a major turn-off and made us question the hotel's cleanliness standards. The sink in the bathroom also had a significant leak when in use, which was not only inconvenient but also a safety concern. We were also disappointed with the dinner options at the hotel's restaurant, which was marketed as a buffet. The prices were steeper than we had anticipated, especially considering there were four of us in total. The child's meal was particularly expensive, at PHP 11,000 total which was a surprise Despite these issues, the hotel's staff were friendly and helpful, and the room's amenities were modern and clean. The hotel's location is also convenient, with many dining and shopping options within walking distance. I was also upset that the pool closer was not told at time of booking

Great staff and comfortable room after a long day if work. Will for sure stay the next time I'm in for work.

Customer service especially in the food are. (Breakfast morning). Cleanliness although there are days that there was no service room attendant. I didn’t like there’s one day, I had been waiting in customer service but they are not paying attention to the Guest. Until one down attendant noticed me and assisted me to the other side of the service desk (concierge) to help me out. But overall, it’s still a great Hotel where I can see myself to stay in the near future.

Excellent room and dining.

One of the WORST nightmare hotels that I’ve stayed in my lifetime. The first room Aircon was noisy and super cold. Changed room. AC was quieter but AC thermostat is NOT working. Same as my colleague’s room. AC temp remained at 11deg. Crazy cold. Water wasn’t hot. Stained counter top. No towels when I walked into the room. Towels delivered looked old, used and worse condition than my home floor mats. They don’t give face towel until I asked. Cheap laminate round table ( like those foldable kopitiam) tables. Scratched and not touched up. Stained carpets. Noise from corridor. Kettle looked old and dirty. For a 4 star upscale IHG. I am appalled by its brand standards. Won’t return ever again! It’s a shame to IHG Brand. Good grief!

There was no hot water at all. No use for the bathtub unless you like a cold soak. Got the engineer to come twice but nothing was fixed and they didn’t even offer to change room for me. Told me that the water temperature is normal. The air conditioning is very cold even when I adjust to the highest temperature. Quality of towels and comforter is not good. Noise level is high even though I’m staying at high floor. The windows acoustics are no good. Bad experience all in all for a good brand of hotel.

This is where I actually stayed. It was a pleasure. You won’t go hungry staying here. The food options are plenty full! I loved it

Check in/ Check out was flawless Sll the staff was great! The breakfast buffet was amazing…..do much variety This sounds like an inflated review but i have only one thing that wasn’t great…..tv selection guide had no information Literally everything else was superb!!!

Had a wonderful stay as always

The size of the rooms are amazing. I have stayed here multiple times over the last 12 years. The breakfast buffet is great and the convenience of the Mall being accessible is a true plus. The only downside is that I typically don’t like to stay in rooms with carpet, and hopefully in the near future, this will be part of their upgrade.

The hotel has been a favourite since I was younger but I do think maintenance and improvements need to kick inn. I had an issue with my room, had a leak inside the bath. Told I was to be moved but no one followed up. I being an IHG member, expected a bit more. Food was good as usual.
