I liked the location, the condition of the rooms and accessibility. Much better if you have your own vehicle. Food? OUTSTANDING for breakfast and dinner. We did not eat there for lunch. We liked it there so much that we ended up staying for 5 nights. The proprietors, Mr. Owen and Mrs. Angie was always available for any questions we had. Thank you and we will be back...

We spent three absolutely perfect nights at Footprints, right on the beach in the Philippines. The accommodation was very pleasant, comfortable and air-conditioned, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Everything was available on site, making the stay very convenient. The food was excellent and varied, and we enjoyed every meal. We were also able to hire scooters directly on site, which made it easy to explore the island. The staff were lovely, always smiling and attentive, as was the manager, who gave us a warm welcome. If we ever come back to this island, we'll gladly return to Footprints!

Tablas Island does not have alot of resorts to stay at, but Footprints excells itself. Owen and Angie are the perfect hosts, nothing's a problem,, food is excellent, great menu, but if you like seafood, which i don't, thats all that is limited, big diverse menu on other foods local and international

Can't recommend this place highly enough. 11/10. The rooms are clean, the restaurant is good value for money, with a mix of Filipino and Western food and drinks, the area is quiet and safe - there's literally nothing bad to say. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, who are really lovely people. We were greeted with hugs by their daughter and their dogs chose to accompany us as we walked along the beach. Very family-friendly, but also great for couples. We'll be back again in future.

Footprints is a unique, casual beachfront resort on the beautiful west side of Tablas Island, PI. The owners (Owen and Angie) are phenomenal hosts, doing everything they can to make your visit to Tablas special. The resort fronts a stunning and mostly empty beach with great sunsets and long stretches to walk. It is shallow, so swimming at low tide can be challenging, but the water is generally calm and clear. The beachfront cottages are simple, but adequate in every regard. Mine had a comfortable queen bed, split unit air conditioning more than up to the task, a fridge for anything I wanted to keep cold and a reasonable bathroom with a shower with on demand (electric) hot water. It's worth noting that Footprints doesn't provide daily housekeeping. They take a casual view and you need to ask if you want cleaning or fresh towels. But the minute you ask they will be provided with a smile. The best part of the cottages is their oceanview front porch which includes a hammock, chairs and a small table. When I wanted a romantic meal with my GF Owen graciously brought over a dining table and candles and had us served right on the porch. Stunning. The restaurant serves an incredibly wide range of food (Filipino, European, American, Indian, etc.). It is mostly good, but necessarily not always excellent. (Owen isn't a seafood fan so that is not their strength). I am confident that everyone can find something satisfactory to eat-if not, they will guide you where to go.

Tranquility at its best. If you ever want to get away from it all and relax at a beautiful resort this is it. I had been in Phillipines for 7 days stayed at 2 different hotels and this was the only hotel with hot water and a blow drier.. Yes!!

No answer to my 2 messages about the transport and not possible to reserve a transport for me the day after my night to go to Calatrava ! I did it by myself (walked 15' with my big luggage !) ! Very surprised !

Unglaublich tolles kleines Resort am absoluten Traumstrand! Das ganze Team ist sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Als Rückzugsort aber auch als Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge auf Tablas der perfekte Ort. Wir würden gleich wieder ins Footprints gehen.

Good place to relax. Owners very good host and make sure you are comfortable. Diverse Filipino and western menu. Cottage with hammock in front of the beach and you could see and hear the weaves which is the best way to relax and unwind. Highly recommended

Loin de tout très calme plage immense de sable fin, personnel souriant et très serviable. Restaurant bon et pas cher. Le bungalow sur la plage est grand, très propre, bien conçu on dort bercé par le doux bruit de la mer.

I loved the fact that it was a beach front, and that it exceeded my expectations.

the beachfront beauty and awesome swing/puppies. Zion was a hilarious dog and our place with cool with AC and comfy. staff were really helpful and orgqnized our super early a.m. tricycle

We stayed a week in May. It was the perfect getaway on a lonely beach for us. The sea in front of the resort is clean and you can still swim when the tide is low. We had the aircon bungalow. It was the cleanest accomodation we had in all our Philipinnes travel. The hosts, Angie and Owen are so nice and take care of everything. If you want to go somewhere they have bikes or can arrange a local transportation. The kitchen crew makes a great job. The food is really good. You can choose between Philipino dishes and western food (carbonara is really good). We really enjoyed our stay. We loved to just walk on the beach with the dogs. During our stay they had cute little puppies. We really had nothing to complain about and would return without hesitation.

Nestled in a spot off the beaten path, Footprints is the place you go to if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. That said, even in a remote setting, creature comforts like air-conditioning, and hot showers are on hand. You can't beat the view with the beach right there on the doorstep. And the management and staff are so friendly and helpful, making sure your stay is pleasant and restful. Can't wait to go back for another getaway!
