The the place served its purpose, bed to sleep in and a bathroom to use.👍 Cheap.👍 Accessible.👎 Unclean (the whole room)- the AC was full of black dust. - bedsheet were wash but there are still stains. - bathroom was a bit dirty (walls and the window)- the floor was sandy. - the floor mat was flipped because the other side was dirty. - cabinet is very dusty. - the blinds are damage and dirty.👎 They reception is closed between 10pm-5am.👎 They lock the main door, and on our 2nd night we were locked out. We couldn't get in, tried calling the landline nunber but no one was answering.👎 Parking space was infront of the hotel, can accommodate motorcycle and if you have a car you'll park at the side of the road.

Staff were accommodating and the hotel is right at the city center - highly accessible!

Clean room for an affordable price. Although, there is no water heater in the shower.

By the time I stay in this Hotel (GV Hotel Catbalogan), the city and several place was affected by the earthquake which the Eq center was in Ormoc about 100km from Catbalogan city. Which rumoured damaged the electric source. So by the time the hotel was lighted up by their own Generator which on every 3 hours and stopped / outrage for 2 hours periodically. The worse things are the water is totally not available except the next day in the morning which we are advised by hotel staff if need to use water nor get shower, we should line in queue with other occupants to use staff toilet where's the water only available. For the management goodness, better to ceased the hotels operations during the main needs for the occupants such source and water are unavailable.

The front desk officer is not accommodating. Need to smile often.

It was nice. The place was good.
