The hotel was going through some renovations as it is a bit dated. The plumbing and bathroom fixtures in our room could do with some modern upgrades. We only stayed 2 nights but there were spiders and mosquitoes in our room. Overall it is a 2 star hotel.

The internet never really worked properly. I spoke with the front desk and he informed me that his internet was working.

What I didn’t like was my past trip and this one, the pool had to be shut down for a majority of my stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was clean as well as the rooms. I will definitely be staying here the next time I go to the Philippines.

My third stay at the hotel. Very satisfied.

The room we had was nice. The pool was great. The lobby was hot. The roosters next to the building is too noisy making it hard to sleep.

Very nice property, setback from the road quiet not a lot of barking dogs, or throwing roosters. Nice pool area, good breakfast.

Breakfast was delicious and free. Wifi connection was excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable. For a one night stay it exceeded my expectations!

I made multiple calls just to clean my room. Housekeeping was slow, but overall the place was okay.

Front desk was challenging at first, but the issues were resolved. Get up early for buffet type breakfast. Pool enjoyable. Cloth, paper type slippers, no pool towels. No robes.

Oasis Hotel in Butuan is just your average hotel with nothing really that shines. The staff are very helpful and are very willing to give you any assistance and the rooms are good with the only complaint being the cockroach which greeted us on entry and was quickly dispatched down the toilet. The air conditioning was good but noisy, as are all these wall type aircons, but it kept us cool. The beds were nice and comfy and tea/coffee facilities are provided but not the coffee/tea. We dined in at the restaurant and the food was good and tasty and mostly suited to the Filipino taste which was also the same with the free breakfast. The dining area was not air conditioned so was a bit uncomfortable but we asked for and got a fan which really improved the experience. The hotel is fairly old but has held up well and well worth the price of an overnight, or two, stay.
