My booking was confirmed by Hotels.com but when we were on our way to the property, I received an email from them informing me that we can't be accommodated and that I will be refunded in full. So, we had to reroute the transportation we were in and book in any open accommodations I could. I ended up paying higher transportation fee and accommodation fee. I tried reaching the contact number linked to the accommodation, it seemed not in use anymore. When I called the contact number given in the email, the person who answered told me it was not her who would give the refund. After a long exhausting flight, I felt like I was scammed! I even had to contact Hotels.com 3x to follow up on the refund that was promised to me. It took them several days and attempts before they were able to contact the owner. The whole experience was sooo inconvenient!
