Sitio Uno is home away from home. My son and I stayed here for two weeks and we totally enjoyed our stay. The unit is clean and well-maintained. The swimming pool is an accessible R&R place. Filipino breakfast for each guest (rice with meat of your choice - chicken tocino, tapa or luncheon meat) with coffee.or iced tea is delivered to your room every morning. Most of all, the staff are friendly and accommodating. The lady receptionist, Alex, had a sweet smile even after a 12-hour shift. For a relaxing and affordable vacation, I recommend Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines. Make sure you stay at Sirio Uno to experience the famous Filipino hospitality.

Beware, the pictures do not portray the room you’ll receive, and the cleanliness and maintenance is deplorable. I assumed I had booked a room with two queen beds since that’s what was pictured, only to be told at check in, it was one full size bed. The desk clerk could barely be bothered because she was too busy playing on her phone. We proceeded to the room, dropped our belongings and went to dinner. Upon returning, the room smelled of vomit, apparently when we turned the air on it stirred the smell up. The girl at the desk decided two air fresheners would suffice, when it was brought to her attention. Needless to say, I demanded another room which wasn’t much better, the air conditioner never cooled the room. John from housekeeping offered to put us in a third room, and after an hour that room never cooled off. Instead of enduring another night of no sleep due to a hot room, spiders, lizard poop, and just plain filth, we decided to leave without staying the second night. Of course the girl at the front desk was glued to her cell phone once again, and acted like she couldn’t be bothered. We had stayed at this property over a year ago on multiple occasions, and it was certainly maintained better, and cleaner than it is now. In addition, the employees were always friendly and helpful. I’ve posted a few pictures to show what we encountered during our stay, and to let others know what they can expect. Hopefully the property will make much needed changes.

Close to City Centre and bus terminal

The property was beautiful, clean and easy instructions.

Extremely nice and supportive staff. Right behind a mall and restaurants. Nice neighborhood.
