The hotel is located at an excellent location, with fantastic views of the Taal Lake and the volcano. The food in the restaurant is great, and the service is generally very good. The nearby area also has many nice places to eat, but they mostly require a little bit of walk. Due to the much cooler weather up there than that in Manila, people flock into the area for the weekends, but that also means the pool may be a bit too cold to enjoy a swim… Overall, I would say it was a very nice stay experience.

checked in after a hike to volcano Taal with some colleagues. The room is connected to an adjacent room and thus soundproof is not good as I could hear anything happening next door, particularly a noisy kid crying for everything. I went to ask for assistance. after some negotiation, I settled for an accessible room with two beds for myself and no bathtub. as it is still connecting to another room but the receptionist promised no one would move in since it was quite late already. unfortunately, after a short walk before dinner, I found the same thing happening again. sick of keeping changing room, I just asked for a pair of ear plugs to get through the night, the receptionist denied with some sort of contempt on her face and told me she would ask the next door guests to tune down the voice. after a poor quality night, i went to have breakfast. right after took some food to my table, a waitress approached me and asked me to better dress as I was wearing a sleeveless T-shirt (am I on holiday?). although I was offered with their clothes. for hygiene sake, I went back to my room to change (by the way, a small piece of notice indeed hung in the cabinet requiring a dress code in restaurant and bar). in a couple of minutes, I went back to the restaurant and found my table was cleaned. a funny hotel to say the least.

The service and breakfast buffet was good and the staff were very friendly, however the room we got wasn't well kept. The lamp shades had rust and the cabinet door in the bathroom fell off when we tried to open it and the mini fridge wasn't working either. We stayed at this hotel last December and got a better well kept room in a different wing of the hotel.

I have stayed at other hotels before with about the same rating and even cheaper in price but i was disappointed with the room. It didnt feel luxurious at all for for the price I paid it was not worth it. I guess I thought it would be better the way it was presented before on TV. Anyway there should be more towels already available and have brighter lights in the bathroom. The bed cover should feel more luxurious also and not like being at home type. For the breakfast buffet can they have more variety especially if its for thr Filipino food like danggit and tuyo or something. May sound awful to whoever is reading this review but we have stayed at other places and they do not shy away from serving these food. And for the fruits there should be more of a variety also because just passing through the market place there is so many to choose from.

I stayed here 15 years ago and the property is showing its age. The room and bathroom were worn. Overall, it’s ok but nothing special.

Staff are all friendly and nice I just wish is more upgraded room but I heard there renovating the hotels so hope it’s gonna be nice..

We always stay at Taal Vista Hotel every time we decide to visit Tagaytay. We love the accommodation and the ambience. Overall experience has always been great.

Very,nice, staff, incredible. I would recommend this hotel to any one I know.the staff, food, convenience, and attentiveness, is very good. Ace, was a nice person for our escort to sky ranch. Had private walk way for sky ranch. The live music, for breakfast was very nice and took my request's. Pool side, was a guy who’s worked there for 15 years. Given the greatest pool side service. To ourselves. It’s. People like taal vista. The staff, front desk, and room service, I recommend taal resort for,a wonderful stay. Sincerely, sir Michael.

We are very happy with our stay . The view is awesome and the food is great. The daily free breakfast is really a bonus. We would come back next year!!!

Outstanding weekend getaway from Manila.

**Review of Taal Vista Lodge Stay** (February 25, 2025) I recently stayed at Taal Vista Lodge and had a mixed experience. Here’s a breakdown of my stay: 1. **Room Reservation:** I originally reserved a Superior King Suite with a choice between a Taal Lake view or Mountain side. I chose the lake view, but upon checking in, I was assigned the farthest building, the last room on the topmost level near the fire escape, with no view at all. Unfortunately, no one assisted me with my luggage up two flights of stairs outside of the building. My room faced the Mountain side, but all I could see was the corner of the building. This was quite disappointing. 2. **Spa Experience:** The spa, however, was highly recommendable. The masseuse was on point, and the price was very reasonable. This was definitely a highlight of my stay. 3. **Staff Service:** The staff service was below par, scoring a 3 out of 5. My wife had stayed here three months ago and recommended the hotel, but my experience was just okay. Considering I paid $126 for an overnight stay in this area, my expectations were higher, especially given the hotel’s ratings. Overall, I would rate my stay a 3 out of 5.
