This hotel was amazing . The staff and service was excellent . It was super cute with old world charm . We loved everything about this place . It has its own private beach club which was fantastic . We would highly recommended putting this hotel on your itinerary.

Fantastic overall experience at the Grand House and the Grand Beach Club. Perfect for celebrating our wedding anniversary.

We only stayed one night but we loved everything about Grand House! Such a beautiful and unique boutique hotel. The rooms are cozy and inviting, and the beds very comfortable with nice linens. The staff at the beach club and restaurant was excellent and very accommodating. A must-stop on your Algarve trip!

The property is very nice and clean and breakfast was fantastic. The beach club is about a 3 minute drive, and is very peaceful. They close at 5pm, which is really early. The sun is still beaming until 8pm. It would have been nice to not feel rushed out of there, especially since there isn’t a ton of things to do in the evening. You basically are stationed at the hotel. The area needs more restaurants. Definitely a little sleepy of a town, but worth a night. We stayed two, and it was one too many. The shopping is great. Nice Portuguese pottery and other authentic items for cheap.

The renovation is fabulous. My issue is the breakfast and dinner service. They seem very understaffed. We waited almost an hour for breakfast one day and dinner was expensive with only 2 entrees. My pork was a piece the size of my fork end. The manager was excellent but cannot be everywhere at once.

Top notch service. Breakfast was outstanding. Food at the Beach Club also excellent. Would highly recommend. Caution: if using a US credit card be warned they forced us to pay in US dollars instead of euros, thus paying a higher exchange rate that someone made money from - and they told us that we were charged in euros although the receipts said otherwise. We were not offered the machine to process payments - the employee did it.

Grand house was so impressive from the arrival and seeing the exterior of this remarkable building to the welcome and all interactions with the team. The daily gifts were lovely and fresh oranges supplied throughout. Breakfast was superb with views across the river. Thank you for his amazing experience

Great hotel. Nice cozy feel. Loved the beach house down the street. One of the only hotel out of 5 we stayed in that had face clothes. Linens were fabulous, towels, sheets! Oreo the onsite dog was the very best addition to our stay.

Simply top notch! Definitely five star attention to detail in a beautiful historic house. Breakfast selection was excellent quality and a wide variety of options. The Beach Club was a pleasurable way to spend several hours. Poolside food & bar service was attentive and menu items we tried were delicious.

Tim was small but comfortable. Enjoyed the town and hotel. Their Beach Club closed at 5 which was a total bummer. I think they keep it open later doing the high season. It’s about a 10 min ride in their shuttle. 30 min by bike, which are available free of charge at the hotel. There’s a great bike riding area through a forest. Breakfast was lovely. Staff was very kind and helpful.
