We received a very warm welcome from the owners, even though we arrived later than planned. We were able to enjoy a toasted sandwich in the peaceful garden. The house itself has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are decorated with great care, maintaining the old style yet offering all the modern conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh rolls, homemade jam, and lemonade. A place to return to!

Marta and Ikar were the most perfect and accommodating hosts for this historic and scenic B&B hotel. As owner/operators they made sure we were comfortable and catered too. Local jams and honey and and extra personal touches made this stay worthwhile. Slightly remote but close enough for a 15 minute drive into Tondela. We would definitely stay here again.

Die Gastgeber, das Haus, unser Zimmer, das Frühstück, der Garten - alles ist einfach nur unglaublich - wir haben uns selten auf unseren Reisen so wohl gefühlt. Marta und Iker sind freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und will gar nicht mehr gehen. Das Haus ist perfekt renoviert und dekoriert und könnte glatt für einen Schöner-Wohnen-Artikel posieren. Jedes Detail scheint mühelos perfekt zu passen und auch unser Zimmer war liebevoll ausgestattet - das Bad war großzügig und modern - alles war einwandfrei in Schuss und tadellos sauber. Zur Begrüßung gab es Kaffee und Kuchen im großen Garten, das Frühstück wurde im Wohn-Essbereich serviert - frisch gepresster Orangensaft, hausgemachte Marmeladen, Semmeln, Rührei, Wurst und Käse - einfach nur lecker. Nur schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten ...

We stayed in a beautiful old house, renovated with taste and surrounded by a green garden with many cosy corners to enjoy the landscape. Optional Iker makes you a 3 course diner ( previous chef cook). According to the weather, the breakfast is out- or indoor.

Experiencia súper recomendable. Repetiremos seguro! El hotel está en plena naturaleza, en una aldea portuguesa. Muy tranquilo, y regentado por Iker y Marta que son una pareja encantadora… aunque los auténticos reyes de la casa son Dylan y Dexter ❤️

This was an amazing home in rural Portugal. The hosts went completely out their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was very spacious and wonderfully designed, the breakfast amazing, and we stayed an extra night partly to enjoy a home cooked meal, made by the London trained chef and one of our hosts, Iker. Marta, did her share with homemade jams and delicious baked goods. Give yourself a gift and stay in this home. They seemed like good friends after our all-too-short two night stay.

Beautiful house very well renovated and maintained by a very nice young couple. We had a very good stay and wished we could have stayed longer! Many thanks for the refined breakfast and good advice.

La situation, le cadre, l'aménagement des chambres étaient parfaits. L’accueil extraordinaire. Le petite déjeuner excellent. Seule la présence des grands chiens était parfois dérangeante.

Esperacular mesmo !! Vale a pena para passar um tempo no meio da natureza selvagem com conforto de 5 estrelas. Café da manhã é copiosamente servido e de muita boa qualidade. Vamos voltar com certeza !!

Casa do Cabeco is a beautiful home wirh outstanding views. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. Breakfast each morning was a delicious collection of fresh breads, handmade jams, local cheeses, fresh fruits, Greek yogurt, and an excellent ppt of French press coffee.
