Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, good location, lovely breakfast with a big variety and lunch boxes available if you have an outing planned which you can get on the day. I really enjoyed my stay at Enotel Magnolia.

Nice stay. There are often clouds over Funchal, so we couldn’t use the outdoor area as much, but it was great when the weather was good. The indoor heated pool was a big plus. Breakfast was okay. Free parking was very convenient, and we rented a car directly from the hotel, which worked out perfectly. There aren’t many parking spaces, but the reception was helpful and found us a spot in the nearby area. We rented a room without a balcony, which I would not recommend — it feels very closed in. The location is great though, you feel like you’re in the middle of everything, and it’s easy to get around.

Hôtel plutôt propre moderne et assez confortable. Mais malheureusement il a plusieurs défauts. La piscine parait correct en taille sur les photos, cependant la moitié de cette piscine est plutot une pataugeoire donc finalement assez petite.. et le parking pour les voitures et ridiculement petit. Sur 7 jours je n'ai pas pu m'y garer une seule fois.. donc difficile de trouver de la place a l'extérieure.. la vue mer n'est pas toujours évidente selon l'étage..

Le séjour a été fabuleux ! De l’hôtel à la visite de l’île. Les dames de la réception sont adorables et de bons conseils. En revanche, dans le restaurant, un homme et une femme n’étaient pas très agréables. À peine « bonjour », des sourires légèrement méprisants.. heureusement que ce n’était pas une généralité. Les autres ont tous été accueillants ! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel ! Mention spéciale aux deux dames de la réception présentes le 21 août à 14h00 : chaleureuses !

Enotel Magnólia was voor ons een oké verblijf. Niet neer niet minder, en deels omdat we deze grotere hotels niet meer smaken. Zeer drukke lawaaierige eetzaal waar je ‘s ochtends het gevoel krijgt dat het bestek ieder moment om je oren kan vliegen. Het personeel is over het algemeen vriendelijk buiten enkele mensen aan de incheck balie waar een goedendag soms al te veel gevraagd is. Echt informatief zijn ze ook niet. De mogelijkheid om je koffer te wegen aan de ontvangst is handig, maar dat je daar één euro voor moet betalen is ook wat er over. Parking is zeer beperkt, 20 plaatsen, maar doordat wij vroeg vertrokken op uitstap kwamen wij ook tijdig terug waardoor we altijd wel een plekje hadden. De kamer was netjes, net zoals het zwembad met voldoende ligbedjes. Maar bottom line, overall ok, doch kiezen wij de volgende keer voor een kleinschaliger hotel.

Breakfast was excellent! Room was spacious with a great view of the ocean. Music and performances nightly were very nice. Amenities were very good. Service was outstanding. It would have been nice to have hair conditioner for the ladies but not a deal breaker. Thanks to all the staff!!!+

The hotel was situated next to a beautiful park. It is a 30 minute brisk walk from the hotel to the seafront/cable car area of Funchal.

Very enjoyable place to stay- nice layout with easy access to amenities, friendly staff, clean rooms and great breakfast. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Available parking is somewhat limited.

Foi tudo muito bom tenho apenas dois pontos que acredito que poderiam melhorar. Ter serviço de alimentação 24h e estacionamento com número maior de vagas.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel! I particularly loved my room - I had a superior room which was very big and spacious and had a balcony with such an incredible view. I also loved the swimming pool (both indoor and outdoor). The reception staff were super friendly who made me feel happy and welcomed. A particular shout out to Katerina at the reception desk who showed me such great hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again.

Extremely courteous staff. Cannot fault the hotel facilities nor position. Only slight negative comment is that the mattress was a little too hard for my liking.
