Vackert, strandnära hotell i ett väldigt eftertraktat område. Rummet är rent och städas dagligen. Personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam och frukosten har allt från frukt till varmt mat och efterrätter. Bra att veta är att det förekommer ljud under vissa perioder, såsom fester på stranden under helgerna. Lokala fester där området stängs av i princip. Det finns en parkering under huset och det finns inte tillräckligt med plats för samtliga. Det kan ibland vara svårt att hitta parkering nära hotellet.

Un bel hôtel en bord de plage dans un quartier animé. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable, le petit déjeuner varié. Un peu bruyant selon les passages extérieurs et intérieurs. Dommage que le parking n'ai pas suffisamment de places pour tous les véhicules.

Excelente localização, café da manhã muito bom e com opções. Quarto grande e confortável.

We booked this hotel without knowing it very wel. However, it was the best time for us in Madeira. Totally recommended

Das Hotel ist wirklich empfehlenswert - tolles, stets hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal, große Zimmer, kein Durchgangsverkehr, direkte Lage am Meer, sehr gute Gaststätten und Bars und auch ein Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Umgebung, toller Steinstrand mit traumhaften Sonnenuntergängen, sehr gute Anbindung an die Schnellstraße, ohne vom dortigen Verkehr was mitzubekommen. Einzig die Tiefgarage erfordert fortgeschrittene Einpark-Skills. :-) Fazit: wir kommen wieder! Danke für die tollen und erholsamen Tage!

Amazing accomodation

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sind groß, das Frühstück und Abendessen sind vielfältig und recht lecker. Als Nachteile würde ich das schlechte WLAN und die stets volle, enge Tiefgarage nennen. Das Internet öffnete nicht mal Nachrichtenseiten, ohne Bilder und Videos. Und die Tiefgarage ist rund um die Uhr voll und furchtbar eng. Um dort zu wenden und rauszufahren, muss man ein virtuoser Fahrer sein. Auf jeden Fall würde ich dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und auch das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Jedoch war es für uns enttäuschend dass man bei unverschuldetem Nichterscheinen wegen wetterbedingtem Flugausfall den Rg.-Betrag für sämtliche gebuchten ÜN verlangt. So geschehen bei unserem Sohn welcher nachkommen wollte, aber seinen Madeiraurlaub wetterbedingt nicht antreten konnte. Dies wurde dem Hotel sofort vor Ort mitgeteilt. Expedia verwies auf einen Ermessensspielraum des Hotels bzgl. der Einforderung des Preises bei einem derartigen Sachverhalt. Dieses verwies jedoch auf die gültigen Stornobedinungen welche in diesem Fall unverschuldet nicht eingehalten werden konnten. Wir hätten uns in diesem Falle einfach ein gewisses Entgegenkommen von Hotelseite gewünscht welches trotz mehrmaliger Bitte leider nicht erfolgt ist.

Gutes Frühstück, großes sauberes Zimmer, direkt am Meer

The staff were nice. The breakfast was included and had a variety of fresh food daily. Especially appreciated the drying line in the shower so bathing suits could be hung up to dry. The only downside was the parking situation: a very small underground garage that didn't say it was full (first come, first served), and street parking was next to impossible to find, unless you parked before 6 pm or after 9:30 pm, as many people come to see the sunset (which IS beautiful). No street or underground parking reserved for guests at the hotel. Except for the parking difficulties, a very nice and relaxing stay.

Really nice hotel. Walked to Cascade do angol. Nice rock beach and swimming if you have sunny day also great for sunset.

We loved staying at Enotel Sunset Bay. Ponta do Sol is a fantastic location on Madeira. The hotel is right in front of the ocean and beach and all rooms have ocean views.We stayed on the 4th floor in the seaview rooms with balcony. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well-equiped. The 4th floor is where the roof top deck is located. It was a great place to soak in some sunshine and relax after a day of hiking. The indoor pool was also a bonus. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with lots of great choices. There is free underground parking, but it is somewhat difficult to get into and can get full. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and I highly recommend.
