It is a beautiful boutique hotel that I have ever stayed in; a lot of thought went into the design. The Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Filipa, she is so nice and warm. I enjoyed my time there very much.

Lovely clean room with a bonus of the pretty roof terrace outside. All areas were well themed and appealing. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Great location for walking out and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was fantastic with loads of choice and all fresh. Loved the fresh cake and coffee available all day. Excellent stay

tout etait tres bien , la chambre etait tres propre l'ensemble aussi , le personnle tres attentionné et tres disponible, rien a dire , le petit dejeuner copieux , bref ensemble hotel et personnel a recommandé , nous reviendrons surement en plus tout est a peids en 5 mn

Beautiful breakfast, friendly staff

The breakfast was superb,the staff Katia,and jaoj? We're fantastic,the room was small,bigger rooms available,but not during our stay,ice cold Aircon,quite a lot of steps to climb,no lifts,but I highly recommend this stay.

The service was wonderful. The staff was really friendly and helpful, who went above and beyond. The hotel was clean and had alot of amenities. We would love to stay there again at a later time.

Beautiful guest house which has been lovingly restored. The staff are very friendly and gave us some great recommendations. The guest house was, had everything we needed and felt safe. We had a beautiful rooftop terrace which was great to sit in with a glass of wine in the afternoon. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, breads and cheeses. The location felt safe and is within walking distance of the main harbour with plenty of restaurants and bars. We had a wonderful visit and will definitely return in the future.

Magnifique séjour au GuestMar, le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins pour ses clients, très gentil et amical. Le petit déjeuner est fabuleux, la cuisine est à disposition toute la journée avec de bons gâteaux maison. Propreté au top. Bien placé, nous avons toujours réussi à trouver des places de parking dans les rues alentours. C’est une adresse à retenir !

Friendly service in upmarket bed and breakfast

I had a fantastic experience in Guestmar. The place is really cozy and you feel at home. A spacious room with A/C, delicious breakfast, and a terrace to relax and stargaze in the evenings is the perfect setup for a couple but also for a solo trip. Filipa went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and help me in enjoying my stay the fullest. Joao, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. His passion for the house is clear, treating it with the care and attention one would hive to their own child. His warm hospitality made my stay even more memorable. A place strongly recommended!

Todo bien, el desayuno muy bueno, la limpieza de la habitación, Ricardo es muy amable y atento, por poner una pega sería q no hay ascensor y tienes q subir la escalera con las maletas, pero si está Ricardo él te ayuda, yo volvería sin dudarlo.

Its staff is very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are very clean. Best if you book a lower level room. Bedding and bed were very comfortable. Sheets smelled really good. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great 3 night stay at Guest Mar. The staff were super friendly and helpful - the breakfast was delicious and it was very handy to be able to use the kitchen throughout the day. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Space was a bit tight in our room, but it was workable. We made use of the shared spaces - rooftop, kitchen and reading room. All in all a lovely guesthouse.
