Location - a few minutes drive out of town, there is a walking path along the river to the centre of town, about 30 min walk. No restaurants nearby.
Accommodation - walls are very thin, so you hear all the rooms around. Room furnishings and decor are dated, and room layout poor. No English language TV. Nice view over the pool... which was empty 🙁
Eating - substantial continental breakfast, plenty of fresh fruit
Wi-fi - very poor, couldn't connect in room
Summary - acceptable for an overnight stay.

Nice hotel just outside of the town centre. Pool was closed due to covid measures, however if it were to be open I imagine it would be lovely, since there is a view to the Douro river. Average hotel, outdated but clean

Staff member at Check In was extremely friendly&helpful. The Hotel is a bit outdated but for 1 night it's just right. Breakfast is fairly simple (no eggs) bur was included in the affordable room rate so can't complain.

The hotel its a good value for money. The staff are friendly, the food very basic but again, good.
The only thing i wasn"t happy about was the noise coming from the aircon that kept me awake for 2 nights. I repported it to reception and been told that i wasn't the first one to complain about the noise
