This is a great, convenient and clean hotel. I would highly recommend it.

The staff were extremely helpful, coordinated rides for my arrival from the airport and back to the airport. Everyone was very helpful. The breakfasts were lovely!! The location is very near the harbor as well as near restaurants and shopping, it's also very near the new casino.

Staff were very helpful, property was clean. Good location. Would recommend. Only negative was that the beds really squeaked when you lay down on them - and sound insulation wasn’t the best but would def stay again regardless of these minor points.

Did not like the giant cockroach running about the room. Despite the proximity to the ferry terminal we could not get breakfast in time to catch the ferry. Staff were nice though

Nice hotel with good access to Funchal. On side of a hill so there is some uphill walking. Staff very helpful. Cons:- creaky bed, no tea/coffe making facilities in room. balconies are very close.

Great location. Easy walking distance into and around Funchal. Greeted warmly by reception staff. I cannot remember her name, but she was very friendly and helpful. She gave me advice/suggestions on where i should travel around the island, what foods and drinks to try out and where i could go out to try them. The breakfast buffet was what i expected. The room was clean and tidy. I had a little balcony with 2 chairs and a table that i could use. The only downside in the room was a panel on the wood floor that had been not replaced after damage. And additionally, the bathroom sink tap was leaking. Had to use a towel to soak up the water the 4 nights that i stayed.

Aamiaisaika oli klo 10 saakka, mutta jo tuntia aikaisemmin ruoka oli osittain loppu tai sitä tuotiin vähin erin lisää. Täytyi itse pyytääkin, mikä ei ollut yhtään kivaa.

Kleines feines Stadthotel...wir haben die Lage aus einem bestimmten Grund gewählt, aber in Funchal gibt es zentralere Lagen in der Altstadt (zu Fuß ca. 30 Min St. Maria/20 Min Kathedrale). Zudem ist eine große Baustelle in Sicht-und Hörweite und die Parkplatzsituation ist manchmal schwierig, vor allem am Wochenende. Aber: das durchwegs hilfsbereite und freundliche Personal hat uns sogar 1 mal in der Hotelanfahrtszone parken lassen. Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und angenehmes Ambiente. Das Frühstück ist Standard (eher schlicht), Betten sehr gut und vom Garten, darf man sich nicht zu viel erwarten, aber es ist immerhin ein kleiner Pool da ;-)

Recently refurbished small hotel in a quiet side street overlooking the harbour. Ikea-ish décor. Immaculately clean, swimming pool, friendly & professional staff, buffet breakfasts. 15 minute walk into town. We`ve paid a lot more for a lot less. This was a good experience. Recommended.

Overall I had a nice weekend. The hotel is close to an aerobus stop (the bus for the airport), so very convienent for people who are not renting a car. It's an easy walk to the centre and the harbour. For people who don't fancy going too far, there are a few restaurants and bars around. Didn't get a chance to use the swimming pool because the water was freezing cold in march. There's a fridge in the room, but I couldn't use it because of a strange smell in the fridge.

Pessoas simpáticas, o quarto bom, num local de fácil acesso. Pequeno almoço bom.

Mycket trevligt hotell med personlig och tillmötesgående personal. Rent och snyggt poolområde.Centralt läge i lugnt område. Lagomt stort med 18 rum. Återvänder gärna.

Just returned from Madeira Bright Hotel again a comfortable stay this hotel is well worth the money the overall cleanliness and comfort is exceptional only complaint if any is fried breakfast is very oily and only just warm but there are alternatives to fried if wanted would not hesitate to stay there again keep up the good standard
