I was there for one night prior to catching a flight back to the US. The hotel is walking distance from the Oriente train station which is a plus. It is a very safe and quiet location which is close to walkable shopping and restaurants.

I loved the location and the vibe at the Melia, definitely on the top of my list of hotels I would stay again.

Adorei o hotel! Ótima localização e atendimento. Café da manhã excelente Hotel um pouco antigo, bem conservado, mas precisando de algumas renovações. Toalhas fe banho também poderiam ser de melhor qualidade.

Bathroom needed repairs to the leaking tub.

Travelling with my young kids, would not recommend this property. Room was unkept, towels dirty with holes, bathtub stained, safe was not operational. Check in felt unprofesssional, some of the staff were scrolling on their phones and giggling. Overall, would look elsewhere for a stay.

O quarto no check in não condiz com as fotos da reserva. Reservamos o quarto guestroom e o banheiro não tinha box, tendo que pular uma banheira para a ducha de banho. Quando tomava banho, vazava água por todo o banheiro. Além disso o quarto estava com mofo, sujo e sem manutenção. Vejam pelas fotos (mofo, sujeira, cortina rasgada, dutos nas paredes, infiltração), fica fácil entender. Um hotel 4 estrelas, rede Melia, não pode oferecer um quarto nessas condições. A localização é boa e o café da manhã também é bom.

The bathroom was dirty, the door to bathroom did not close properly.

Localização excelente. Próximo a estação de metrô, ônibus e ao shopping Vasco da Gama. Atendimento excelente dos funcionários. Bom café da manhã.

This hotel is perfectly located for the train station and airport. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean.

Tho hotel was clean and nice, and they were accomodating to early check in and late check out, which was appreciated with young kids. But the bed was awful - it was like sleeping on a 10 year old mattress that the springs no longer worked, so it felt like a rock.

Nice olace. Clean, comfortable, nice breakfast.

Check in was 2 pm but our room was not ready until 2:45. We asked for coffee for our room machine but was told to go downstairs to get ourselves. Otherwise was great!
