The hotel was clean and well furnished however the bathroom felt a bit dated. All other aspects of the hotel were contemporary and modern.
Overall I would recommend Hotel Timisoara, the staff were pleasant and welcoming. It is in a great location, close to restaurants and the quaint old town.

Had trouble getting our key to work, so switched rooms. Rooms are pretty basic, balconies are a bit sketchy. Pool was excellent! Staff was friendly.

Where to start…this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. It’s definitely not!! Moldy sink caulk, moldy shower curtain that certainly hasn’t been changed in awhile, tub that is 50+ cm high where even the shortest of people have to bend over to get under the shower sprayer (I am 160 cm or 5’3”, so short), broken tub, stained carpet, walls that need repair …and a personal beef-no electrical plugs next to either side of the bed!! The mattresses must have come from the bargain bin at Ikea-so lots of squeaky springs. My stays at Ibis have been a better experience! The location is nice as it is close to the Old Town with a decent selection of restaurants as well as the lovely walking path next to the river. The staff were friendly. It’s easy to grab an Uber to the airport. Not sure if I will stay here again but if I do, I will certainly ask for an upgraded room.
