Spa and staff wonderful as well!

Fantastic

This is a stunning hotel with excellent food (e.g. breakfast and in room dining). Beds are very comfortable as well and it’s located just outside the old town. The downside is being near the old town which is just awful and you are almost forced to eat in the hotel as the food options around are down right disgusting. The big issue with this hotel is how unfriendly the staff are. In fact the only staff who could raise a smile and acknowledge people were the housing keeping staff. The dining staff, the front desk staff etc just ignore you and keep to themselves. A great hotel let down by staff that appear to not care about their guests,

The hotel is in a very convenient location for exploring the old quarter of Bucharest. The rooms are generously sized and stylishly appointed except for the one chair. When you lean back in it, it feels like an iron bar very lightly padded. A word of caution, move it out of the way as catching your toe on the legs will give you a memory that you will want to forget! The dining is good albeit with a limited menu. The buffet breakfast has all any international tourist could wish for but an extra coffee machine would not go amiss as you are likely to line up for your morning espresso. The front desk staff are excellent. You will have no trouble communicating in English with any of the staff.

Super Hotel und ein sehr schickes Gebäude. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und das Personal ist immer freundlich und professionell. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es für die Brotauswahl beim Frühstück. Brot und Brötchen waren hart , sehr begrenzt und für ein Haus dieser Kategorie nicht würdig.

Fantastic hotel and great Staff!

The Marmorosh is outstanding. Location is perfect at the edge of Old Town. Just a few minutes away from many many dining options. Arrived 2.5 hours before normal check-in and room was ready for us. That is excellent service. Fitness area was great; open 24/7. The buffet breakfast was superb. A lot to choose from. All very tasty. Staff very helpful and courteous. The hotel was a former bank. The bar was a real treat. It was the old bank’s vault complete with safety deposit boxes lining the walls. I would highly recommend staying there if in Bucharest for pleasure.

Main attraction of the hotel, The Vault cocktail bar was closed for private event for whole weekend. If we would have known we would have booked Ole’s the Intercontinental. Plain/ugly hotel and completely soulless

Outstanding property and service!

Wonderful

I stayed at this hotel recently and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, and the rooms are charming, featuring high ceilings and large, beautiful windows that let in plenty of natural light. However, considering that the hotel charges premium rates, I expected the overall service and experience to match that level — and unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet those expectations. For example, breakfast was already picked over by 9 AM, which was disappointing. While the hotel has a lot of potential and many things were good, I feel that the service and attention to detail did not fully align with the premium pricing. With some improvements in hospitality and consistency, this could truly be a top-tier stay.

This was my first visit to Bucharest & I could not been happier with the location of this beautiful hotel. The staff are a real credit; absolutely superb!
