Great environment, very comfortable, good food options, wonderful service. Excellent hotel.

Let’s see. Checked in and 5 mins later, somebody walks into our room. No apologies from the hotel even though the bell boy witnessed it. Had to call twice to get wifi in the room. 20 mins later they sent somebody’s stuff to our room. Next day - they don’t clean our room since they STILL think we’re somebody else that has requested no cleaning service. come back in the evening- loud, we’re pushed aside for their vip guest. The people are nice and trying their best, but there is something wrong with their processes. Overpriced. Not smooth like typical Marriott.

My stay was very pleasant and restful. The staff took wonderful care of me and got me to the airport safely.

Nice and modern hotel

Decent modern hotel with some shortcomings. They had closed the main restaurant while we were there (without prior notice) and the other restaurant had a limited menu and felt short staffed (it also had a door that would not close properly and so was full of mosquitoes). Overall the food in this hotel was quite disappointing and service was spotty. A notable exception was the concierge service—very professional and helpful, always went the extra mile. Really top knotch concierge. Rooms are spacious and have nice views, and beds are comfortable. I was disappointed by the stains on the carpeting and there was a somewhat weird odor in the hallways—possibly a poor choice of air freshener but it smelled like mold or something stale. You may end up here anyway bc Kigali’s high end options are somewhat limited (and this is among the best) but be aware of these shortcomings. Might especially be worth checking if their restaurant is open.

Really comfortable rooms. Well equipped. Staff very helpful. Convenient high quality dining. Marriott cars always available and convenient. THE best place to stay in Kigali but not cheap - you have to pay for what you get.

Everything was great. The hotel room was nice and roomy and the breakfast spread was wonderful. We had the best time.

The staff were excellent, helpful and personable. We only had the buffet breakfast during our stay, and there were many choices all well prepared. The room and bed were very comfortable. A few issues - the TV several times turned on by itself, including in the middle of the night, the shower door didn't close completely and leaked onto the mat, and while I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a takeout breakfast for our early departure to the airport, we did not have the tea I remember ordering. We were happy with our stay and will return for our next trip to Kigali

Good property

I stayed at the Marriott Kigali, and I must say my experience was very disappointing. The service was far from what I expected from such a renowned establishment. Room service was extremely slow, and when my order finally arrived, it was not what I had requested. Additionally, I noticed a lack of attention towards the guests, which truly ruined my stay. I was hoping for better service and more care from the staff. I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for quality service.

Dans un hôtel 5 étoiles, il est inadmissible de laisser des prostituées ivres mortes hurler, rigoler, vociférer dans les étages (3eme étage, nuit du 01 au 02 aout) de 03 à 04h du matin. Par ailleurs, au bar, service très lent et la bière (même au fût) est tiède. Pas digne d'un 5 étoiles
