On arrival the hostel looks run down, nothing like the photos, the parking area feels very unsafe. Then you have to walk through an abandoned night club to get to the lift. When I got to reception no one was there, rang the bell 3 times and waited nearly 30mins until the lady arrived to check me in. By this point I had been stood feeling very uncomfortable and decided to leave and not stay here. It did not feel safe at all. I've stayed in many hostels all over the world and never felt this uncomfortable. They also charge for linen which is not listed on expedia, or let people bring their own which is a breeding ground for bedbugs.... Once checking other sites for reviews I realised I had made a mistake. They also won't refund for any reason. Its clear the owner doesnt care about the presentation of the hostel, the atmosphere (zero atmosphere) or the customer service. Being the only hostel in San Marino people are left with limited choices. If solo travelling i wouldn't reccommend this hostel, if not alone then maybe it would be ok, but don't expect an atmosphere. If you have a car go elsewhere back to Italy, where you can get a hotel room for just a bit more, and a bit of a drive.

Got hundreds of bites from bedbugs - after one night! Killed three of them in the morning, confirming that it was indeed bedbugs that bit me. Location is about 3 km away and 300 meters below the old town of San Marino - which is quite the hike even for people in shape. The shower room is.. interesting, somewhat see-through walls and not gender segregated. The bunk beds aren’t stable and there was a sweet smell in the room (which later I found out was due to the amount of bedbugs). The kitchen was a bit messy, but there’s a grocery store around the corner. Good AC. The staff was notified about the bedbugs, but I’m not convinced that they will fix it anytime soon.

The only hostel in San Marino - but you could have hoped for a better one. I stayed one night in a 8 person dorm in June 24. There was no lockers, no shelves or power plugs at each bed. Not easy to get up in the top bed. No railing, so you can fall down. Missed more toilets and bathrooms.

Nice place a little outdated. You get what you pay for

The hostel has good Location and Big Kitchen however it cancels the Positive Aspects when you go to sleep and you get bitten by Bed Bugs and Mosquitos ! They do not have nets on the windows. At night the bugs eat you alive!

Total unfreundliche frau ist später hoch gekommen Habe ihr gesagt sie solle bitte die Unterkunft stornieren,da der alte mann kein englisch kein deutsch oder eine andere Sprache versteht. der alt mann steckt meine Freundin mit drei nackten Männer ins Zimmer und sagt sie soll dort schlafen. ist eher ein bordell meiner Meinung. Totale Frechheit das wir zusammen mit anderen schlafen sollten nein mann muss uns noch beleidigen und anschreien.

Se si cerca una camera, un punto d’appoggio, solo per dormire e si vuole spendere poco, non si hanno pretese, si ha un po’ di spirito di adattamento, vista la spesa! Va benissimo! Per una comitiva o famiglia numerosa 7/8 persone è l’ideale! Il personale è cortese, molto disponibile a dare consigli turistici! Le camere sono pulite!

Abbiamo prenotato un errore quel camera dormitorio, poi cancellato. Pero` non mi rimborsato soldi. Ho perso 200 cento Euro senza stare il soggiorno. Un brutta experianza

Struttura accogliente, semplice ma fornita di tutto

Definitely enough for a short stay. For your money, it’s okay. Just make sure you use all your time outside and just sleep and take shower. Only one designated toilet and shower for 8-12 people. Shower looks like meant for a family with young kids because the 3 shower heads are less than 1 meter (3 ft) apart. You can close the entire shower if you want to. Maybe this is because of the Covid to limit cleaning. WiFi was choppy in the room and okay in lounge. The hostel is above a restaurant and next to a Coop market. Plenty of free parking. Possibly more lively atmosphere when the Covid and tourists come back to normal.

Mi aspettavo di meglio ma alla fine per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato il soggiorno è stato abbastanza accettabile. L’aggiunta di un’altro bagno condiviso sarebbe buona.

Non mi aspettavo di trovarmi in un ostello e quindi in camera con altre 7 persone. Ma il prezzo del resto doveva indurmi a capirlo. Comunque il rapporto qualità prezzò è assolutamente corretto.

it was amazing loved it very much..only 45 min walk to top of the mountain where the castle is,,the hostel was very comfortable clean and ok breakfast..the guy working there in the desk is super friendly the food in the restaurant under the hostel is cheap and delicious..i highly recomend this hostel to all

L'ostello é facile da raggiungere ed il pernottamento é andato bene! Peccato per le pareti sottili che hanno reso difficile addormentarsi, il mio letto era attaccato al bagno di un'altra stanza! Ricordatevi di portare le lunzuola perché io, non sapendolo, ho dovuto pagare 3 euro in piú per averle!

Waren auf der Durchreise nach Griechenland. Daher war die Lage für uns ideal. Die Klimaanlage ging leider nicht deshalb war die Nacht etwas warm. Das Frühstück war etwas spartanisch. Trotzdem für unsere Zwecke und Absichten gut geeignet.

Goed koop maar dat merk je ook aan de kamers en ontbijt. Wel schoon maar alles heel basic. Verwacht er niet te veel van maar wel lekker geslapen.
