My recent stay at the Makarem Ajjyad hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The hotel ' s staff, particularly Sayed Khan, Forhad (omelette guy), and Shahadat Hossen, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Their politeness and attention to detail were truly commendable. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed and offers a serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The location is ideal, providing easy access to the holy sites. I was particularly impressed by the hotel ' s excellent services. The staff were always available to assist with any request, and their efficiency was top-notch. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend the Makarem Ajjyad hotel to anyone visiting Makkah. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a convenient location make it an ideal choice for both pilgrims and tourists alike.

The hotel location was very good, haram 5-8 minute walk. The housekeeping staff was very good. Cleaned our room every day, gave us fresh towels as well as water.
Bellboys were good. When we called them to take up/down luggage, came straight away.
We did not use other services such as breakfast, laundry so can't comment.
A laungry shop was 2 minutes away as well as money exchange.

Lack of cleanliness and comfort. For a hotel that is walking distance to the haram and clock tower, it should be a true 5 star inside and out. However it almost feels like a motel or a 3 star. The rooms need major renovations for the price per night.

Not a five star. Horrible service. Our room smelled very bad and they would give you the run around. The water shut off everyday. Horrible experience when the water is gone and you are in the washroom.......wudhu. They offered to send up water bottles that never came. Elevator had problems a few times where they were down to less than half working. 1 Elevator was down the whole time. Bell hops not reliable. When our driver came for the airport they were no where to be found. Remember this is a so called 5 star hotel with 5 star pricing.

Booked and paid in advance for a room with a king bed. On arrival advised no rooms available with king bed and was offered a room with 4 single beds even though it was only me and my wife staying. I insisted for a room with a king bed as I have paid for it. Eventually at 5:00pm we were given a room with a king bed. Very disappointed as i was a returning customers. Will think twice in future.

Location was not bad. For a bottle of water, 10 Riyaal. I was able to get plenty of water bottle just cross the stree for free. . A cup of milk cost 10 Riyaal. No microwave was in room. You can use microwave in dinning area if you have bought food from the hotel.
Customer service was terrible. All waiters and cleaning staff was friendly but they couldn’t make the difference due to poor management
My stay was for a week but it was restless.

Nice decor, rooms can be cleaned thoroughly as there was alot of dust flying from the vents. The cafe staff were really good, excellent service and food from cafe was exceptional too.

I stayed with my family of four in a single bedroom with four beds in it. The room was spacious & clean. The location was good & 5- 7 minute walk from Haram. The bathrooms need upgrade rest it is a good hotel and I would recommend if want to be close to Haram.
