I had a family room on the third floor with a window in the street and I loved it. Extremely comfy bed and quiet at night (there are some people asking a racket in the street while rolling home at night but you'll get that anywhere). It's also only a stones throw from Union street and the Union Square shopping center. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. All in all great value for money. Recommended.

What a great stay we had at Aberdeen House. We had a lovely room on the 3rd floor with a fantastic view of the harbour - we could see everything going on, the location of this hotel is very convenient for the train and bus station as well as the Union Square shopping centre and of course the harbour. Shower was rainfall style and superb. There's no restaurant but if you're looking for a reasonably priced, clean place to stay in Aberdeen, this is definitely it. We will be staying again!

No hot water from tap instantly. Have to turn on the tap and wait for the cool water run out, it takes 10 minutes and wastes a lot of water. No free WiFi in the hotel, it costs £10 per day.

My room was very cold on arrival, turned on radiator but it took ages to get even warm.
Didn’t sleep well at all a duvet was very thin and pillows were awful.
Not what you want in bitter winter weather.

Staff were very helpful and checking in was very quick. Room was very basic room but very clean. Shower was very good and heating very good. Ideal city centre location and hotel was very quiet..only one downside was mattress was very hard but still had enough hours sleep. Thank you and would book again and if you can ou are on a tight budget this would do for a night or two
