Room was cosy and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. Very friendly team and pleasant checking in experience. There is no lift so if this is an issue make sure you book an appropriate room. Close to a few really good restaurants and bars if this is your thing.

Location was convenient for transit and visiting the west end. Staff was nice! I think the bed and/or pillows in my room were a bit uncomfortable but that may be up to taste. The room was compact as expected, good for the price.

Nice quiet hotel in a lovely part of Glasgow - just far enough from the city centre to not be noisy, but close enough to explore. Does what it says on the tin.

Great location but the property is a bit tired. Our room was cramped and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The cooked breakfast was bland and unappetising, decided to skip it on the second morning.

Bit tight for breakfast , old style hotel . Quant, breakfast room cramped and filled with frying smell, not great and I skipped

Lovley hotel, staff frendily enough but the was a constant sound of an AC unti working all night, had a terrible nights sleep

The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and stayed that way, it was super quiet in a quiet neighborhood next to the it place for Glasgow. In walking distance of stores, shops, and eateries.

Stayed full weekend in March 2025 for C2C festival at Hydro . Great stay , friendly staff , comfortable bed , plenty of tea and coffee and good breakfast available at extra charge , cooked to order . Only slight issue is parking . Street parking outside is very expensive with a maximum 3 hour stay but it’s free on a weekend from 6pm Friday until 8 am Monday . If you time it within those hours it’s very convenient. Hotel staff happily advise on a cheaper car park nearby although we didn’t use it . Comfortable 20 minute walk to Hydro and only 5-10 minute walk to city centre with numerous food/ drink options and shops . 2 minute walk to Kelvingrove Park which is very nice to stroll round . We were very happy with our stay

I have stayed here many times when working in Glasgow. It is convenient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and staff are friendly.

Our stay in the Acorn hotel was brilliant, the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, as we were staying for a gig in the OVO hydro, so it was close enough to be able to walk home from. It was still close enough to the city centre that we were able to explore the city easily. I would definitely recommend staying here, and would book here if we're ever in Glasgow again.
