Great hotel, room was immaculate as usual. Staff were great and very friendly. Staff were able to accommodate my request for a room at the front. Breakfast was as always fantastic and fresh. Will be staying again in the near future, in fact, already booked my next stay in March.

Great value, great friendly staff

Super clean room and bathroom, Staff was very attentive and courteous, view from the restaurant early in the morning is really nice, breakfast was very good as well. Ample parking space for cars. There is a huge loch in front of the hotel where you can go for a long calm walk in the day.

Friendly staff, good room and breakfast. Convenient location near motorway. Cold drafts from badly fitting windows in room could have been a problem but curtains and hot radiator meant that we stayed comfortable

Out of the way. Definitely one for the summer to make the most of its location.

The hotel is beautiful. Situated in a lovely spot overlooking the loch. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food was delicious. Chef sent us a treat for our anniversary. Most appreciated. Photo to follow. Ss.

Our stay at the Alona in Strathclyde park hotel was a great stay . We went with our 2 grandchildren and had a family room. We attended the m and d’s circus that night which I would also reccomend as it was a good fast moving fun show for children well worth the money so to stay in the Alona was perfect as it’s right next door . Our grandchildren had a great time and looked forward to the included buffet breakfast which was lovely All the staff were very pleasant and welcoming as was the m and d staff and circus people, So yes I can easily reccomend tha Alona hotel.

We stayed for a week for our son’s wedding in Blantyre. Wonderfull staff - very helpful and friendly throughout, making our stay very enjoyable. Thank you.

Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean and the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast was amazing. Really enjoyed my stay and if I am ever in the area again I will be returning to the Alona Hotel.

Room was a bit dated with a hole in the wall otherwise everything else was good, staff lovely very helpful

Room was spacious and clean but tired. Roast dinner was served cold - clearly reheated from the lunch leftovers. Stale scone substituted for the mini pavlova ordered as part of a trio of mini deserts.

Staff are great , location is amazing with a great view of Strathclyde Park.
