Good clean room.

Checknin was slick. Room was ok, towel had silicone and stains on. Pillows lumpy and flat, bed was ok. Heating was noisy, hot water was very hot and cold was warm. No face clth/wash cloth available. Bar closed early, we were told we couldnt order cocktails at 22.40 beer wine or simple drinks only. Breakfast was very good.

My wife and I were kept awake on Friday night by a very loud private party in the bar. We are both in our seventies. If we were told in advance we would not have booked the room. The music stopped at midnight.

Friendly staff, great location

Nice bar, friendly staff, checkin in great, food in bar lovely, comfy bed, ideal location. Room was a lithle on the small side, it was near the lift/stairwell, and on main street, but being Christmas it was maybe busier than usual.

Staff really friendly. Location great. Room spacious and clean. Breakfast was really slow today, we waited 45 minutes for our hot food to arrive, even though it was quiet. Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay again

Greeted on arrival, room small but well appointed. Tv reception not brilliant which was mildly annoying. Nice bar area. Good location to Ovo for Madness concert.

Although we got upgraded to a suite, which was a great gesture, room was dated and not that clean. Very creaky staircase to mezzanine and lighting not great throughout room. Not stayed in a malmaison before but expected far better. Should of complained but didn’t want to ruin anniversary celebrations

Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfy mattress but pillows a little thin.

We stayed in a junior suite which was stunning loved everything . Ate at the restaurant which was out of this world stake was cooked to perfection and gingerbread crème brûlée was amazing . Definitely will be back

Waited at the front desk for almost 10 minutes to check in, with no apology when the staff did come through. Customers luggage was left unattended behind the desk for this time too. The staff at other times inc checkout were much more friendly. Room was dark and tired looking and cleaning needed improvement - very mouldy bath mat and dusty areas in the bathroom.

Clean Room but heard a constant noise, sounded like a drip sound, think it was from a over flow outside

Not having breakfast

Heating in room could only be turned down to 1 but not off. Room was a hot box and couldn't sleep as a result. Spoke to staff at reception about the issue but they didnt seem interested.

Overall great stay. Efficient and friendly check-in. Room clean. Sink in toilet didn't drain properly and hot tap was on wrong way round. Thought breakfast was quite expensive so ate locally rather than in hotel

Great spacious rooms and wonderful breakfast - a little away from the city centre but walkable with ease.

Exceptional room , staff were on top of there game

Nice room, nice staff, very clean and comfortable, enjoyed our stay, would have been even better if we had beaten New Zealand at the rugby but it wasn’t to be.
